Lovely restaurant and staff were friendly and attentive. Wi fi not brilliant and the windows could do with replacement but I’d still recommend this hotel. Great thing was the electric car charging facility as they charged a reasonable rate and the car was fully charged overnight. Having an electric car, I know how invaluable it is when travelling and you need to charge ready for the next day. Cheaper than a station forecourt and very convenient.

Just loved the old cosy feeling that you would come to expect in such an old inn. If your not familiar with staying in such a building you may say it needs updating, I would say it’s just its charm. Bret was on site and welcomed me and was friendly and helpful, thanks Bret. Didn’t eat but breakfast smelt good. Room was cosy. Would definitely stay again. If you love old buildings with loads of history, you will love this place.

Really great people that run the place, very easy to get too. Rooms were ok but dated, the bathroom was a bit shocking I must say, limescale over the shower head spiders coming out of the woodwork, Lino on the floor was not fitted correctly so it was all folding up. However all the staff were absolutely fantastic

Situated on a very busy main road and nowhere walkable nearby, but is a lovely looking pub/hotel. ||A few niggles. We had just one bath towel in our room (for 2 people) and half a roll of toilet roll which i presume were just mistakes by housekeeping. Shower has no pressure and is like someone holding a watering can above your head. The bed was really short - i’m 5’11 and my feet were slightly hanging off thee end of the bed. A taller guy would have half their legs hanging off. Our room was red hot due to main radiator being on constantly. We asked the manager how to turn it off and was told it isn’t possible as all the rooms radiators are controlled by the hotel on the same system on a timer. They didn’t turn off until 10pm so room our was red hot all evening, and we woke up sweating as it had come back on at 6 or 7 oclock. Pretty ridiculous you can’t control the temperature in your own room. The bar area is nice and that part is dog friendly, however the chairs and tables are not very practical for eating in that part (very small tables with big armchairs), and if you have a dog this is the only area you can eat in. There should be a couple of proper eating tables & chairs in that part imo. ||Other than the above it was a good stay with friendly staff, nice grounds, and good food. Probably wouldn’t stay again due to the issue of being too hot and not being able to control how warm our room is though.

Myself, my wife Mina and our friend Nicol went for a meal there at its restaurant and had a very enjoyable time there.

Food was excellent and the best prawn cocktail starter I’ve ever had. All the mains were excellent and served in good time

What impressed me the most was a very high level and commitment of customer service and we were served.by Bret and would like to thank him personally for making us feel very welcome

Also was impressed with its great selection of non alcoholic drinks and even had a non alcoholic wine which I had for the first time ever

It was so good that I would even consider celebrating my 50th birthday there.

Again many thanks for a wonderful evening.

I've visited Sibson Hotel before and loved it, but since then there have been several changes, most notable is the change of ownership. Apparently the new owner has several factories and an award winning pie in his portfolio, but success there does not mean success in the hospitality industry.||We arrived on Friday afternoon and were warmly greeted by Brett. |Having accessed the room, there was an odd musty smell which we put down to a very old building with probably no damp course and the heating only just on. Happy to say the smell did abate. We wanted a freshen up and discovered 2 hand towels, but no bath towels. Brett quickly rectified this, but it was obvious that housekeeping hadn't rechecked the room since cleaning from the last occupant as there were several cobwebs and flies about. We also had an issue on the following day, our dirty mugs were left waiting to be collected by housekeeping when they replenished the complimentary tea and coffee sachets, but left no fresh ones. Sam quickly rectified this, but it was such a simple simple small thing which makes me question the quantity of the housekeeping team.||Dinner was excellent, although the menu was limited in choice, the aforementioned pies, plus burgers, fishcakes, salads etc. ||Kris looked after us at dinner both nights and was rushed off his feet as the restaurant was quite busy. He was extremely friendly and we had a good banter about the Malteser cheesecake (good, but not as good as mine!)||The bed was comfortable, and we slept well, we could hear the A1 traffic, as we had the window open, but it's unavoidable as the hotel is so near the road. Can't understand people who moan about this! You can't plonk the hotel in the next field!!||The cooked breakfast was excellent, plenty of toast, yoghurt etc to accompany it.||But there was one thing that really p*****d me off, and that was a hotel guest who seemed to think the hotel was his "home from home"|He helped himself from the bar ( he did pay for the drinks, but because there was only one member of staff and they were stretched so thinly there was often no one on the bar) and entered the kitchen during service with his tables used dirty plates etc.|| In my professional life these are no no's due to licensing laws, hygiene laws and insurance. |We thought he was the owner! ||I really enjoyed my stay, the staff were helpful and friendly, and keen to put things right where they could, and the food excellent, but there is a lack of overall senior management presence, which, I believe would tighten up the areas of slack, such as the housekeeping and maintenance. ||

Our Social group just had a fabulous weekend, staying at the Sibson Inn.
The staff are extremely friendly, professional and so helpful. Thank you especially to Bret, Simon, Leo and all the team who helped us, thank you x

It's a really friendly atmosphere and sitting around the fire in the bar area we all chatted, had some laughs and really enjoyed ourselves.

We had a lady attending, whose a Beauty consultant and she presented in one of the many meeting rooms available. Plus we also held a "Bring and Buy Clothes Sale" where the proceeds are going to Charity. Again the Sibson team were wonderful and we had 2 rooms where we could set out our clothes, shoes and much more. Including the raffle we raised over £250!!!

We would definitely recommend the Sibson Inn Hotel, the staff are Amazing !!!, the atmosphere is so cozy and friendly, plus the food is a high standard and delicious, for our group, occupying 20 rooms, we had Dinner, Bed and Breakfast.

Thanks again all, We are already planning to come back in 2025, we are so looking forward to it
