We had a wonderful experience with Laura. Everything from the tasting (which was set up very romantic) was a truly lovely experience.

Laura was incredibly organised, keeping us updated throughout the planning process and even coordinating with the Banqueting Hire company for plates, cutlery and everything we didn't know we needed, which took a lot of stress off our shoulders.

On the big day, the food was delicious, and they were fantastic in accommodating the many dietary requirements. There was plenty to go around and the tables were set beautifully!

Really good food & service was provided by Laura & the team for our daughter’s 40th birthday dinner party.
The food was first class, well presented, large portions
& each dish cooked to our specifications. ( There was 19

On our wedding day (June 2023), none of the meals were presented as they were at the tasting. Attached photos to demonstrate. I was actually embarrassed by the state of the food that came out.
The chef had added SHELLFISH (cockles) to the seabass chowder, without notifying us beforehand or asking about allergies. I can say without any exaggeration, that this could have been fatal. Plus, the sauce had split, which made it look awful.
Staff didn’t use the lemons or ice we’d provided for table water and weren’t quick on refilling - guests had to ask for top ups. Not great in 30+ heat.
Staff were inconsistent in making & serving our welcome drinks, as evidenced by the fact we had no Prosecco left but 3.5 bottles of cassis.

No denying the staff were friendly and nice, and Laura was great in the run-up, but the food and drink on the day was enormously disappointing.

The one star I have to give can go to Laura for working so closely with us and Banqueting Hire Service on organising required crockery and tableware.

Otherwise, a major let down and I wish we’d gone with someone else.

We had a fantastic experience with Laura and her team for our 40th birthday party. We had around 60 guests in a marquee and everything ran flawlessly. The food and service were excellent.

We initially met to discuss the food and the plan, then from there everything seemed to just magically happen with nothing being too much of a problem. From the drinks being served, to the menu choices, to the tidying up, everything was perfect. The team came across as eminently capable, relaxed, and cheery the whole time. I'd definitely trust them with any future party!

We had a wedding of 40 guests at Barn Drift. Laura worked with us from the word go to help us work out the best menu for the day. She also worked with our hire company to ensure quantities of crockery etc were good. We had a great tasting session and on the day the guests could not speak highly enough of the food.

BTYP catered our April 2023 wedding and we were so impressed. Their menu was varied and gave lots of choice, and Laura was flexible and accommodating with our requests. On the day the whole team were so friendly and made sure everything went like clockwork. We had the sharing pies for our main which were delicious, and a beautiful lemon Eaton mess for dessert. Then for the evening we had bao buns and pizzas. There were lots of compliments from our guests about all the food!
We would definitely recommend BTYP both for the quality of the food and professionalism of the staff. Thank you!

Back to your place catered for our wedding afternoon tea at Waxham Barn on 20.8.22.

Laura was great at communicating with us and helping us to organise the day. She really went above and beyond, visiting our venue the day before to make sure all of the arrangements were in place.

The staff on the day were all friendly and really helpful. The food tasted amazing and there was plenty of it, with seconds in abundance, which lots of our guests commented on! Everything was well presented.

They also served our welcome drinks and tea/coffee/prosecco for a toast. Everything was a perfect temperature and ran smoothly.

One major positive was their understanding of allergies. They took various dietary requirements seriously and made all of our guests feel confident and comfortable to eat the food.

I would recommend using them to other couples looking for the same thing. Thank you!

We cannot recommend Laura and her team highly enough.

From the beginning Laura has been very approachable and calm, and flexible to the end. She has a great understanding of how to approach your event and you feel totally confident in her ability to cater for your day. When you are organising a wedding this is invaluable!

Throughout the day her team were brilliant - friendly and engaging with all the guests creating a lovely atmosphere…and the food was AMAZING…particularly the sticky toffee pudding and nutmeg ice cream! Everyone commented upon this!

If you wnat to have fabulous food, that is suitable for all diets, a brilliant and flexible caterer and great team, then we cannot recommend Back to your Place enough. Thank you everyone Su & Jon
