Nice little old-school bakery, sprinkle cake is an absolute favourite!

Only downside is the lady serving is miserable as heck! No smiles or chat, which is rather off-putting. The owner really needs to hire someone who actually knows what great customer service is.

Very unwelcoming & poor customer service. Shame really, cause would rather use independent business & heard good things about it. Service lets it down. Didn’t say hello back, didn’t make conversation, blunt answering questions. Could have sent a lot of business their way if they weren’t so rude.

My brother has learning disabilities, is autistic and is not able to speak. However he loves this bakery! His support workers have sent me photos of him at the bakery, beaming away and he has particularly enjoyed the sausage rolls and Cornish pasties. Sometimes people find it hard to relate to my brother, but I have heard that the lady there has been brilliant. She has been kind to him and connected with him straight away. When I visit him next week I hope to come along too. Congratulations on being such a welcoming, inclusive place for people with disabilities.

The food is amazing!
The lady who works most mornings comes across as moody. Makes you feel unwelcome. Never smiles. If you ask a question you get one word replies. I will continue to use the bakery because the food is nice and fresh. My only criticism is customer service could be greatly improved. Looking at the previous reviews a few other customers has had a similar experiences 3🌟

Called in yesterday for the first time whilst visiting a friend in the area.
The shop was clean and quite busy as it was lunch time, I bought several items including an Eccles cake, unfortunately it was the worst I have ever bought, it did not taste freshly baked and the filling was flat, dry and powdery with no obvious signs of currants or any other fruit very disappointing. The other items bought were ok but I would not shop there again.

Haven’t used this bakery for many years. nipped in there this morning , had the sausage & onion sausage rolls Plus we bought a marmite & cheese loaf of bread . Wow gorgeous . They were selling bacon rolls at £2 what a bargain . In fact everything was a bargain . Live in Bradwell but will be going back for more
