At first the service was not good, after we returned the order because it was messed up, they changed the waiter who was really good. The setting was pleasant but the two adjacent tables were very noisy, we couldn't hear each other at all, shortly after they turned up the music and conversation at our table became completely impossible. The food wasn't bad.

We went as a group of 10 for Christmas meal, we pre-ordered. We sat down to eat at 8pm, the starters were lovely, we then waited almost an hour and a half for our mains, we had to ask a few times if they were coming - which I'd expect if we hadn't pre-ordered. In this time multiple tables had come and gone, and the live entertainment had left and a second person was on, we just waited ages and ages, spent lots of money on drinks which was fine but we were starving. Ended up eating my dessert at 22:45 which is a little bit too late personally. I think the place is overall a nice environment and the staff at the bar are lovely and so are the waitresses. Just the service that let it down a lot, 7/10 said we wouldn't return and the remaining 3 said they would but only for lunch. The food itself was okay, the muscles are very tasty.

Great customer service and very accommodating as we had our new 9 week old daughter with us. For me, 3 things make a great dining experience: the service, the food/menu options/quality and the overall environment. This place ticks all three. Just disappointed with ourselves that we havent been here sooner, given we live less than a mile away! Would highly recommend Either there kebab skewers or the scallops for mains.

Visited as part of a large group to celebrate my daughter's engagement. All I can say is that we will not be back as it was not a positive experience!
Service was extremely slow with both food and drinks. At one point I got up and cleared the table myself! Some people had finished their mains before others had received theirs and drinks were sat on the bar for a good 20 minutes at one point. We constantly had to remind the staff that it was time for the next course or we needed drinks. There were no serviettes and I was given a blue roll, it has one piece left on it, as did they toilet roll - shocking to be honest!
The staff seemed like they really didn't want to be there, we each experienced rudeness from the 2 members of staff we spoke to. Food was slammed down on the table, there was huffs, eye rolling and shrugs! We had ordered a large amount of food and drinks and asked for the children's drinks to be removed from the bill as they had only the included ones then other drinks after - we were then questioned about this and accused of having 2 of each.
They were more than put out by the fact we were paying separately too and made that known. At one point I was in the toilet and I heard someone shout out 'who still needs to pay, your still owe over £200', couldn't she have just gone over to the table!
We were given 8 mints at the end 😂.
Finally as we were leaving we was asked if everything was ok - this was the first time! So I told them and there was no apology just another shrug of the shoulders.
It's a big shame as the food is good.
I am a great believer in feedback as it improves businesses when listened to but last night it was not, so here we are!

Had a party of 24 tonight. Admittedly, we were a large, loud crowd celebrating an engagement. We were put into a separate room which served us great. It took forever to order our drinks and then even longer for them to arrive. We had pre-ordered our food but we were sitting at the table just over an hour before food came out and that took a long time; some of the party were finished their food before others even received theirs. The food was nice. Nothing spectacular, but nice enough. We ordered more drinks and they took 25 minutes to reach our table and when they did, the waitress slammed them down into the middle of the table one by one. We asked for serviettes, we were given blue roll. We had to ask multiple times for sauces.
We had to ask multiple times to order our desserts for the younger members of our party which when they arrived, they forgot to bring one out.
Once we asked and finally received the bill, we had been charged for drinks that should have come with the kids meals. When this was brought up to the waitress, I was told some transactions had already been put through the till so *shrugs* literally, she shrugged at me.
She then followed me back round to the table to argue the children had had extra drinks, which they hadn't. She then shouted at the other waitress behind the bar.
Service as abysmal. The service was infact so unfriendly, rude, blunt and uncomfortable that we won't be returning in the future.

We booked in at Gambas to take advantage of their Sunday offer 2 for £15 roasts - it was the best roast we'd had this year, so tasty and great portion came really quick too. Thank you will definitely be back soon!
