Been a few times and can't fault it. Good location . Excellent rooms and breakfast. Dave and Lucille are outstanding hosts .

Just returned from 6 days staying at Maryland. Yes it's dated, but superb value for money. Clean, hot water, good breakfast. Our stay worked out at £33 per person per night, bargain. Location is a little walk to main seafront but good for waterways. Overall fantastic stay and nice couple running it. We would stay again.

I stayed at the Maryland guest house from the 8th October till yesterday. I was with a small group of 4 and had a lovely time throughout our stay. It was close to all amenities, great cooked to order breakfasts (really hot and tasty), the rooms were clean and a decent size and the proprietors were wonderful, very friendly, helpful and had good banter, nothing was too much. We all would love to go back and would recommend.

David and Lucy are welcoming and friendly hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Very clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfast and they have a private car park which is very welcome in a very bust Great Yarmouth. Will certainly stay again, as I hope to visit relatives again next year. Very good value for money.

Myself and the Mrs stayed here overnight, and were more than happy with what we got.||Greeted warmly by Dave on arrival, asked us where we'd come from and how our journey was, offered information on where to go and what was happening in town that weekend, very nice bloke. We chose what we wanted for breakfast and were then shown to our room on the 1st floor.||Room was nice with en-suite bathroom, both of which were very clean. Beds are low but comfortable. We both had a very good sleep. Tea and coffee facilities in the room and tv.||Good location, only 5 minute walk into town. ||Breakfast the following morning was at 8:30. We were shown to our table by Dave who had tea and orange juice ready. Breakfast was served promptly, hot and was nice. If you want anything other than what you asked for on arrival then Dave is more than happy to accommodate you.||All in all a nice b&b and we would definitely stay here again.||A lot of reviewers complaining about how dated and basic the rooms are......it's a bed & breakfast in an old Victorian type house. If it's mod cons you're after, find yourself a big hotel chain instead. If you just want somewhere to get your head down for a night or two with a bit of brekkie in the morning then this does the job well.

A very pleasant stay. My room was lovely and comfortable. David and Lucy are excellent hosts. There is private parking which is very convenient. Close to beach and town. I have stayed here several times and always enjoyed it.

Have stayed here several times, on this occasion stated for a week. Dave and Lucy very welcoming, Dave will do almost anything to help to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Rooms are pleasant and clean. Parking is an essential selling point. Would have no hesitation in staying there again or recommending to others.

Bannisters sticky and dirty on arrival. Very dated. Toilet seat falling off. Bed very low, collapsing and bedding freshly laundered but stained. Carpet in need of a good deep clean. Complained about bed but owner not that bothered it was an accident waiting to happen. However, the breakfast was excellent, hot and well presented.
