Great facilities, close to the beach. BUT…

My father is currently staying with you, choosing to do a tour of the east coast after a disappointing and catastrophic few weeks in France, he just wanted some familiarity and nice weather and spend time with his beloved dog.

At nearly 71 years old, he got his 3 day stay dates slightly mixed up and arrived a day late. Rather than find ways to make that not a problem, you tried to charge him 200% the cost of what he paid online for the extra night (£40 not £19) as you need at least 2 days booking. This is such a poor attitude, I asked him is it that it’s crammed full and they will lose out on pitch money? From the photo that is not the case. You even joked, I bet you won’t stay here again! Hilarious.

Is your cost of a pitch for one night that wasn’t used, that much more than a bend in your policy, and show some customer service to a pensioner who is staying with you? He is part of many Facebook motorhome groups where hundreds of holiday makers share their experiences, and I have no doubt this experience will be shared. You had an opportunity to remedy this poor experience and poor attitude and ensure his stay has been a welcoming one but didn’t take it, and now he’s on a pub car park for his last holiday night rather than enjoying his 3rd night with you.

Great open top bus prices; £7 all day for two along the sea front and other nearby seaside towns.

Plenty of activities to get involved with along the sea front. Crazy golf options, beautiful park, cafes, rides for all ages, stunning beach and dunes. Dog friendly!

Good to see some investment in local renovation projects of historical buildings. Interesting cemetery off the beaten path. Gt Yarmouth has a lot to offer all ages.

Friendliest racecourse in England.
Prices in owners and trainers bar good and competitive.
Lots of seating areas outside, around the parade ring and marvellous views on the balconies
Rate this race course up there with the best of the smaller and more inclusive with world class staff from the catering and refreshments team, one particular dark haired bar team member from Ireland who I thought adopted me as one of her special owners. Although Devoir's Choice could not reach the finish post first, he did leAve a lasting impression on Yarmouth, kicking a gate post in the parade ring.
Fingers crossed all is well as I hope to return soon to sample the bubbly.

Good campsite in a good location for the attractions in Great Yarmouth centre. About a 10 minute bus ride or 30 minute walk down the sea road. The beach proper is about a 10 minute walk. The dunes less. Facilities on the site was spotless the piches were plenty big. The one we was on was flat but there where plenty of motorhome using levelling ramps. A nice touch we thought was when you arrive they give you the paperwork and say choose your own pitch. (Not sure if this is so when busy). The best bit, the sea breeze! I know some people complain but when it was 40 degrees it was a blessing. The pitches look a bit bare of grass but it was the hottest spell in British history.

Superb spotlessly clean facilities wardens very helpful.Don't try watching the races whilst in the car park you will be asked to move jobsworth steward who was up his own backside. Don't be put off staying on race days as it causes no problems.

Fantastic site. It’s very peaceful and the toilet and shower block are excellent. The staff are brilliant and the club member prices are reasonable. The fish and chip van visits twice a week and there are a small amount of essential items to purchase from reception. Access to the town centre is very easy along the front and you can walk to the beach over the dunes in about 10 minutes. The beach itself is a mixture of sand and pebbles and is also very quiet for those wanting to sit in peace.

Lovely site, friendly staff and other campers. Not far from the beach and the town. We had a lovely stay. Will definitely stay again. Thanks. The pictures are of the waterways great yarmouth. Only a short walk from the site.
