Fish & Chips were tasty and good priced. Guy confirmed no beer in batter so Halal friendly. Tried fresh donuts and these were yummy too! Recommended

There are plenty of options on the menu with veggie options too like veggie burgers. The staff were very professional and polite with good service. The food was delicious. I recommend the cheesy chips!! There was plenty of seating space outside.

I came here for lunch and the bloke he was very nice. He said that if I wanted to go back there there is a back garden that you can sit and look out from and the seagull won’t annoy you but the chicken nuggets were very juicy and delicious and the chips, oh my God, they were to die for. I’ll definitely be going back here again.

Decent establishment - very busy during lunch/dinner time but in between these times there was plenty of seats and hardly any queue. We stopped not for food but for ice cream and there were a host of different flavours that stood out from other venues. The sorbet was delicious and quite free dressing also. Price was not to sad - typical prices for the seaside.

Well such a lovely fish and chips place 😋 was very yummy and just what you get from a seaside chip shop 😋 great value and lovely warm chips would highly recommend if your in great yarmouth

The ice creams were nice but the fish and chips were disgusting, threw them away. They were expensive aswell.

Just love fish & chips and always on the hunt for the best. HJs is very popular and service is very quick and friendly. A couple of young lads were constantly cleaning the tables ready for the next customer. The chips were probably the best I ever had. The fish is the reason why I didn’t give it full 5 stars. It was cooked properly but the batter was more like a bread batter rather than a nice n crispy. The fish did lack flavour and batter was very bland. But I have to appreciate that they were very busy and had admired the staffs teamwork. My son had the burger and it was really delicious.
I will not forget the chips. They were probably the best I have had.
Would I recommend : YES

What a lovely day at Great Yarmouth and a fab place to stop off at for a bite to eat. They cater also for Halal which is great for us. The staff are on the ball & move very fast. The place is very clean, tidy & spotless - The staff which we noticed clear up straight away, in readiness for the next customers. Tables are clean too which is good to see. Thank you, we will be back real soon xx
