Called in for Sunday lunch with family. Have to say it was the best one we have ever had. Everything tasted like it was homemade by my Grandma. Couldn’t fault anything. Decent portion size too. We will definitely return back at some point. Very good value for money too at £12. Keep up the great work.

Cosy pub in a secluded area. Great for ramblers.

I had the vegan burger, the chips were delicious and burger good.
Could we expect to see some additional vegan options next time? :))

Great food, beers and atmosphere and a feast service. Defintely a must visit. Especially if you're 3 steps away on the old barn campsite.
Make sure to book a table though. They get busy and work good reason.

Good welcome in a very warm bar, great atmosphere and good range of drinks and a menu that offered both range and value. The staff were welcoming and friendly and so helpful throughout our visit. Food arrived reasonably quickly and was very fresh and tasty, the steak and ale pie was a real treat ! Worth a visit for good value, wholesome food.

From start to finish our two nights stay was excellent. Great location in a beautiful old building with lots of history. Our room was comfortable, spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly. All our meals were great with lovely local produce of a very high standard. We will look to stay here again. On our experience we would highly recommend.

We've just had the most amazing weekend. Thank you to all the Lovely staff you made us feel so very welcome. The food was delicious, both breakfasts and evening meals🙏 Our room was Lovely too. Everything was excellent ! We will definitely be back 🥰👌

What a little gem! Room was spotless, fabulous shower with complimentary toiletries, milk, coffee and tea with biscuits in the rooms and super cosy!|Full cooked breakfast in the morning which was superb.|Only criticism is the smell (sulphur) of the manifold river when window was opened but that wasn’t the Inn’s fault.

Really excellent. Warm & comfortable room. Friendly & helpful staff. The included breakfast was great: home-cooked full English, one of the best we've had on a hotel break. Location of the Inn was perfect - loads to do nearby. Used a "Buyagift" voucher to book 2 of our 4 nights so it was extremely good value. We shall be more than happy to return for another break here as it made such a good impression. Highly recommended.
