The Tearooms and accommodation are in a good location and plenty of on -street parking. I checked in when the tearooms were open (closes 4pm) and met the very friendly staff and I was then shown to my bedroom. There is also a key safe and private entrance for those arriving after 4pm. ||The bedroom was nicely decorated and had twin beds, bedside tables, a wardrobe a desk/table and chair and wall mounted tv.||On the table there was a good supply of teas and coffee (including decaf) plus there was a lovely addition of a cafetiere and fresh ground coffee.||There was a step down into the generous sized ensuite bathroom. This had underfloor heating which was lovely underfoot.||This is a Bed & Breakfast establishment and you have your breakfast downstairs in the Tearooms.|I had a full english breakfast and a Latte. The breakfast was freshly cooked with good quality products and looked and tasted delightful.||All staff were very friendly and helpful. The tearooms had a great choice on their menu and a vast array of home-baked cakes, traybakes and scones.||i would highly recommend this Bed & Breakfast (plus Tearooms) and would definitely stay here again.

The Fountain Tea Rooms offers a no fuss B&B. The double room is perfect for an overnight stay or weekend away in the Derbyshire countryside. The breakfast (available to non-residents too) was spot on. Friendly service is also a bonus. Very well recommended.

We stayed for three nights. The Fountain Tea Rooms are a lovely quaint B&B with great rooms, comfy bed, good selection of facilities and are very clean. We had breakfast in the cafe below the room and it was amazing. Food was well presented and tasted great.Could ask for anything from full English to scramble egg and mushroom on toast. Nothing was to much trouble and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The area was quite and peaceful. And also had a children's play ground across the road. The Kings Head pub up the road did fantastic steaks well worth the money. We would recommend a stay at the Fountain Tea Room. Great stay and lovely place Thanks to all the staff that made this happen. X

I ended up having a small breakfast and a latte. The coffee tasted great and the breakfast was cooked perfectly. On top of all of that the prices were very reasonable and the staff were very friendly.

The location is also excellent and it's worth having a walk around the village!

You can't fault this place if you tried, it's excellent. The owner and staff were friendly, lovely and very helpful. The rooms were clean, very nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was included and beautifully cooked. It really was a wonderful little find, well priced, faultless, and I can't recommend it enough. If you're lucky enough to get a room and have the pleasure of staying there, on our experience you'll definitely be leaving with a smile.

We booked both the rooms so it felt a bit like our own unit to ourselves. The instructions for our arrival were clear, and it was easy to park outside. The rooms are lovely and the bathroom is really well appointed, but we would have liked some hooks to hang the towels and/or any wet clothes - yes, it rains in Derbyshire! There are lovely walks right from the doorstep, and Bonsall is really near to Cromford and Wirksworth (where we were attending a wedding) as well as Matlock bath so that was good. The village is quiet (this is a positive for us!) and everyone we met was really friendly and welcoming. Breakfast in the popular tearoom downstairs was delightful 🙂 Would recommend.

Had an absolutely delicious lunch here today on our first ever visit. Staff are lovely and can’t do enough for you. The cakes are phenomenal! Such a lovely gem of a cafe and dog friendly too which is a bonus if you’re out walking. Hidden gem!

What a little gem this is! Thank you Anne for a lovely stay (again). Our friends live in the village and we stay here when we visit. Rooms are lovely, clean and welcoming.
