Homestead Farm really is the best Bed and Breakfast either of us have ever stayed in. Jean is very welcoming and has the customer service down to a fine art, everything she offers is over and above.|The food.....well it's absolutely delicious 😋.....Fraggle the dog was made very welcome and as you can see from the picture she enjoyed her time there as much as us. My only regret is not ordering an evening meal as if the breakfasts are anything to go by the evening meals would be scrumptious. I felt very relaxed and welcome on my stay and we will not only return but will be ordering the evening meals too 🙏||Thank you very much we will be back 🙏

Jean goes above and beyond to ensure you have a enjoyable and comfortable stay||Excellent breakfast with great choice and delicious. ||Room very spacious, clean and comfortable. ||Parking and location great with many good local walks.||Would definitely recommend and will stay again.

We stayed in the self catering cottage and before booking had been a little put off by a couple of the photos but they didn't really do the cottage justice. It's a beautiful and warm little place with two bedrooms and comfortably accommodated the five of us (with a single bed in with our double). Even though we'd gone self catering Jean agreed to cook us two breakfasts which were great and included both 'full englishes' and pancakes. Lovely stay and common with other reviews, we will seek to return for longer.

Once again had a fab stay at homestead farm where we feel immediately at home, mainly thanks to jeans hospitality and superb cooking! Looking forward to our next stay already. We have been coming to homestead farm for several years now, both in the cottage and the b&b and would highly recommend both.

What a surprise to be given the charming self-catering apartment for our stopover as part of a week long walking holiday. Every home comfort and more - then the wonderful home-cooked dinner and breakfast! Feeding the hens was an unexpected bonus and the friendly welcome was just lovely. Only regret was not being able to stay longer.

Just got back from a GREAT four night stay. Thank you Jean for a very enjoyable time. The location is perfect---numerous good "walks" from the farmhouse without travelling miles by car. The room and facilities were perfect--and the breakfast and evening meals great! Jean( and Allan of course) really like spoiling their guests. A lovely relaxing five days. Homestead Farm is MORE than a bed& breakfast-- it really is a home-from-home as other reviewers have said. We will be back!

My son and I stayed at homestead farm for the weekend|In February and was looked after by mrs Carson, she made us|Very welcome , when we arrived she made us tea and coffee |With home made cakes and nothing was to much trouble, the accommodation was very warm and inviting. Would recommend |To any one wanting to stay in the Peak District,|Jean was the perfect host

This is an excellent apartment, or rather, holiday home, for an amazing price. A sort of converted old barn (I think), adjacent to the farmhouse. I couldn't fault it in any way. It had everything you need and was charming and cozy as well. Included in the price was a nice cooked breakfast. Also proper wifi, a large flatscreen tv, a well-equipped kitchen, good beds, etc...||Close to Bakewell, Matlock, the perfect countryside location.
