My second stay at The Hut and it's been just as perfect and relaxing as my first stay. Beautiful location, cosy and warm in the hut with everything you could need for a break away from it all. Will definitely stay again one day, thank you so much for everything Rachel ❤️

I am coeliac and checked before I even booked that I could be catered for. Rachel responded with a friendly yes and we organised for me to have granola yoghurt and fruit. When we arrived, I was suspicious of the granola as it had been decanted into a container we so I couldn’t check ingredients. I then texted Rachel to check and got a reply at gone midnight that it wasn’t. No offer to replace or get something else. My partner weirdly wasn’t catered for at all - no bread or pastries for him. I was very polite as the hut is very clearly her pride and joy so didn’t leave a review. Then she left me a bad review on air b&b, saying I’d left the place in a disrespectful mess. When I texted her, it turned out there was a blanket on the floor and the milk hasn’t been put back in the fridge. I must have do e this by accident. It doesn’t seem fair at all; if I’d have eaten that granola I would have been really ill. And I just had a small yoghurt and a handful of berries for a £140 bed and breakfast for my partner’s birthday.

We enjoyed a fabulously cosy weekend in the Shepherd’s Hut. The attention to detail made all the difference, there was plenty of fuel for the log burner and an assortment of treats for breakfast. It’s a very special place to visit.

I've stayed here twice now and every time I've been blown away by houw stunning the cottage is, all the lovely little touches that Rachel does make it that bit more special. Beautiful cottage, lovely location and such a fab place to stay and visit. Will definitely make this a place I stay and visit regularly.

We have visited The Little Green Hut several times, and each stay has been just as delightful! This time, we brought our 5-month-old baby, and hosts, Rachel and Hayden made us feel incredibly welcome, and their recommendations for local attractions were fantastic. It truly is the perfect getaway spot, with every detail carefully considered. An idyllic and wonderful place to relax and unwind, surrounded by lovely walks and cosy pubs. We can't wait to return!

A truly magical 24 hours at The Hut, Eyam. I’d recommend this beautiful Hut to anyone, it has everything you could wish for & more, such attention to detail. Fire pit, marshmallows, hot choc, breakfast banquet, comfy, clean, cosy, just wonderful! Thank you so much Rachel & Haydn for a very special trip - we’ll be back!

UPDATE - we returned!! August 2024- my birthday surprise away at the little green hut. Just as perfect, couldn’t have wished for a better place to spend my birthday. 🎈 thanks again so much x

Rachel is a fantastic host. Very kind and welcoming and has thought of lots of little touches that make made the stay extra special. When I first booked I was a little nervous of the separate bathroom/kitchenette but I needn't have bothered it was perfect. Short walk from Eyam village centre which is a quaint village which has really embraced it's history making it an interesting yet peaceful weekend. Just what we needed. Thank you Rachel x
