Wow what a place, my 3rd stay here as i love it so much.|It’s just the most beautiful place, Michael the host makes it perfect, he puts so much effort into making the stay exceptional. |The beds are comfy, 10/10 for being so clean and tidy. You get a lovely Continental breakfast in the morning where you sit looking out over the cliffs. |Just beautiful. |So much effort is put into everything. Everywhere you look theres amazing things in Heathbank House the decor is so eye catching. |I will be staying again.

This place is truly amazing! From the moment you arrive you are taken to a place of luxury with decorative touches all around that you will be inspired by. Michael himself is wonderful, so warm and welcoming even before you arrive and welcomes you to share his beautiful home. We stayed in the deluxe family room over a weekend to visit the ‘Lights of Abraham’ which is only a short 10 minute walk from the hotel. Our daughter was thrilled with her bunk room just off our room which was perfect for us in the evening when we got home as we could relax with the TV on as she slept. Let’s talk about the bed! Wow, probably the comfiest bed we have ever slept in with the added bonus of his and hers electric blanket if you fancied it plus a choice of pillows. |The furniture and soft furnishes are next level and make you feel so comfortable. The smaller touches like a fresh doughnut each on arrival to our room and our own little Christmas tree, 2 mini bottles of Prosecco and the fluffiest towels you have ever felt all make this place something very special. The continental breakfast was delicious with fresh coffee and a delicious selection for both us and our young daughter. There are some many other things we will remember about this stay but urge anyone thinking of staying to stay and find out for yourself! We will be back for sure!

Some friends and I visited so we could go out in Matlock for a weekend. The house is absolutely stunning, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and has the comfiest beds in the world (probably!). We really enjoyed our breakfast and the proprietor went the extra mile, showing us round and even brought our bags down for us. We stayed in the family suite and there was plenty of room for the 4 of us. I will definitely be visiting again and wholeheartedly recommend it as a great base to pop into Matlock or Matlock Bath.

Amazing B&B! Beautifully presented house, so clean and tidy and the host was amazing, so friendly and welcoming and even put a Lindt chocolate on each side of the bed and a welcome doughnut for us both and even a welcome card! The room itself was so clean and cozy, carpet was so plush and bedding was super comfy with a nice plush duvet and a firm and soft pillow each and a soft throw over the top! Bathroom was also spotless just like the rest of the house and there was even little amenities to use, the shower was hot and had amazing pressure! Continental breakfast was included and although it’s all cold food; cereals fruit, yogurt etc. the host offered us toast and crumpets and tea and coffee and everything was beautifully presented with gorgeous glass jars for the rolled butter and jam! Seriously couldn’t fault this place the host was just so lovely and friendly easy to talk to and so accommodating, great location and a beautiful building, only thing to note that the drive is steep and a tad narrow but easily do able however I do have a long and wide car so you may find it easier =) all in all an amazing place to stay and the host really made it for us! Thank you so much and if we ever travel this way again we’ll definitely more than happily stay here again!

Wow...What can I say, just a beautifully stunning bed and breakfast, Unbelievable value for money in the perfect location, lovely little touches from Michael who owns it aswell with little treats and welcome card, such a lovely host who couldn't do enough for you, I would say it's the best place I've ever stayed and we will definitely be back.

An excellent stay in a beautiful house and great location with an amazing view! With free off road parking our stay was very enjoyable and relaxing. Within easy walking distance of Matlock Town and Matlock Bath and frequent bus and train services. We were made very welcome and provided with plenty of complimentary drinks and even chocolates on the bed. Bed also had heated blankets and was very comfortable. Excellent continental breakfast in beautiful dining room. Also lovely lounge to relax in. Plenty of local attractions and places to eat. |A luxury stay at a great place with an excellent host. Would highly recommend and will be staying again 👍🏻😊

Lovely 4 poster bed with lovely under blanket warmer and little touches that gives the stay a unique essence. Very quiet and relaxing. Great view.

We’ve had such a great stay at Heathbank House, our host Micheal was very welcoming and had thought of everything to make our stay a memorable one!
The rooms are beautiful, well equipped and extremely comfortable. We can’t wait to come back.
