A first class base for any visit. It is clean, comfortable and nothing is too much trouble. This has been and will continue to be our favourite accommodation in Bakewell. I would recommend it to anyone. Louise is a perfect hostess; friendly and helpful.

Due to a Booking.com mix up we were put up in the Garden room at Meadow Croft and were not disappointed. The room was spotlessly clean and well equipped.|Louise was a lovely host, very welcoming.|A short walk through the park into Bakewell brings you to The Manners pub.

A great choice just 10 mins walk into Bakewell center through a very pleasant park. Louise |made us very welcome and communication was great ahead of our arrival. |The garden room overlooking the rear garden was bright airey and hot on the heatwave weekend we stayed. A fan was provided and opening the windows did the trick. |Bed was a large king and very comfy with a shower room off with a reasonable shower but we could not work out the way to change modes to the hose output. Maybe it needs a sign. |Breakfast things are coffee, tea, cereals and pastries in the room with a little fridge with milk and juice etc. Heat the pastries in the mini oven and enjoy. No hot breakfast option but Bakewell has many cafes for this. |The two rooms let out are accessed by a separate entrance to the hosts house and this makes it very easy to come and go. Ample parking on the large drive. |Louise obviously puts a lot of time and effort into this B&B and it shows from the detail of the rooms and cleanliness. A great place to stay. We really enjoyed our stay in Bakewell. We will be back next time.

Stayed for several nights for work, we had a very friendly welcome to a wonderfully bright airy room. A really comfortable bed, great shower, loads of storage and sockets for charging phones etc. With a welcome Processo, bottles of orange juice and Bakewell Tart!|Only a few minutes walk from the centre of town with plenty of places to eat and drink.

Three nights stay, room clean, comfortable, with every amenity possible. Louise the owner is friendly and very accommodating, nothing is too much trouble. Parking outside on street or on drive and very close to Bakewell centre via a lovely walk in park and along river. Some good restaurants/cafes/bars in Bakewell. Plenty of information provided on local and surrounding area for visits/walks etc.

Stayed here for 2 nights in June 2019. The location was great for Bakewell town centre which was just 7 minutes walk. Room was clean with modern bathroom. Would have liked a cooked breakfast for the price. Host friendly and welcoming

The guest house is very close to the village centre but in a nice and quiet street. Comfortable, clean and spacious room with all necessities available. Our host was very friendly and helpfull. Ideal stay for visiting Bakewell and Chatsworth House!

The welcome was nice. Louise showed us up to our room and explained about the breakfast, drinks and other facilities in the room. There was a Bakewell Pudding and a small bottle of prosecco with orange juice for us too, which I thought was a very nice touch.

Parking is also available.
