I stayed here with a group of friends whilst staying in the area to watch a concert in Cannock Chase forest. Andrew, the owner was really welcoming, making us tea and shortbread once we got there. We had one room in the main house- two singles and a double. A fridge was provided on the landing. The overall style was rustic but beautifully clean and the bed was very comfortable.||Some of the party were in the self contained flat which was well appointed and again very clean. Breakfast was fantastic- right down to the homemade jam and unlimited tea and coffee. Can't recommend this place highly enough...we will be back

We stayed at Longdon for 3 nights in November this year and were exceptionally pleased with our find. The accommodation was a family room and we booked bed and breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and the room very big.The breakfast was excellent and the whole experience was unbelievable value for money. Andrew was a great host, friendly and accommodating. We loved the surrounding countryside which was one of our criteria for picking Longdon, a lovely quiet nights sleep. Thank you we will be back.....soon.

We spent 4 nights in this B&B. The house is beautiful, full of History and surrounded by amazing countryside. The hosts are great and very helpful. The breakfasts were very substantial. The bedroom was spotless with a good size TV and WiFi available. There was no ensuite with the room however facilities were not far from the bedroom. Obviously this may not suit everyone. Also worth mentioning there are a lot of steps and uneven floors which may cause problems if your not too steady on your feet.

Hosts Andrew and his wife Leanne provide more than a warm and welcome B&B facility, they provide a superb and fascinating stay in a charming house rich in history and set in the heart of the beautiful english countryside. If you want a traditional B&B, a fabulous cooked breakfast to set you up for the day (made with local produce) Do yourself a favour and stay at Longdon Old Hall ... I had some of the best nights sleep in a long time, I will definately be back!

We have just stayed overnight whilst visiting the area for a family party. Andrew was very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in the main building which has some lovely original features, including the odd bit of sloping floor, (so you might not have had quite as many drinks as it feels). The rooms are immaculate, and the beds are very comfortable. Our rooms weren't en-suite but the bathroom and shower room were just across the landing and were gleaming. For breakfast there are plenty of cereals to choose from, plus fresh bread for toast, all finished off with a supberb full english breakfast cooked by Andrew. You can look out over the beautuful countryside and see horses, cattle and sheep; and you might have a visit from Mel, the sheepdog who is afraid of sheep (Andrew can tell you the full story). When we need accommodation again in this area we will certainly look no further than Longdon Old Mill Farm.

We stayed at Longdon Old Hall Farm for one night and had a wonderful time. The main house is full of character and we were exceptionally well looked after by Andrew - nothing was too much trouble. If you're looking for somewhere reasonably priced, incredibly welcoming and with a hearty breakfast, we'd definitely recommend this place.

We received such a friendly welcome on arrival before being shown to our lovely room and brought some drinks. ||We occupied the top floor with the bedroom which included a king size and a single, two arm chairs, large flat screen tv and tea making facilities. Across the landing was a large bathroom with shower. Views from both rooms looked at over seemingly endless countryside. ||Breakfast was a real treat, fruit juice, fresh fruit, cereals, toasts, crumpets and a wonderful full English. The selection of jams and marmalades was the best I've ever experienced including some homemade choices. ||Free wifi too!
