Stayed at Common Farm for 4 days B & B. An absolutely superb place. Lovely en-suite room, and a lovely Full Breakfast. Very quiet and comfortable. Good Parking. Hazel, the owner, could not do enough to make my visit as comfortable as possible. Lovely house, and will certainly visit again when next in the area.

I stayed here with my daughter's the night before the wedding. The rooms were beautiful and had everything we could possibly need. The owner, Hazel, and her husband couldn't do enough to make sure we had a good stay. We all got ready there the next day and the make up lady and hairdressers cam to the B and B.||It was a fabulous start to our wedding and have fabulous memories of staying here. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Pennywise and pound foolish. I was staying weekly since June. In October I received an email from them saying prices were going up by £4 per night which I accepted without argument. When I confirmed what night I was coming this week I received another email saying that the reason for the £4 increase was using the shampoo , soap and toilet rolls. I couldn't believe my eyes! I obviously have now cancelled and will not be returning as clearly the soap, shampoo and toilet rolls are for display purposes only. Be warned.

This was a really peaceful and comfortable stay. Excellent bedroom and generous size bathroom. The real highlight was the breakfast - really high quality with fantastic local bacon and sausages. Would definitely stay again!

We booked our elderly uncle for a week while his house was being refurbished and he ended up staying 7 weeks. Hazel is the perfect host, very thoughtful, kind and hard working. English breakfasts that he will miss and the rooms are tasteful, well equipped
and comfortable.
Superb value in a beautiful area.

I didn't and wouldn't have booked this for our stay, mainly because it is a continental and not an English breakfast lol. Having said that, the breakfast spread was excellent. A wide choice and variety of bread, cereals, savouries and fruit, with toast and of course, tea and coffee. For those that like a continental breakfast, this is superb and you can even see the the camels and reindeer in the adjoining farm from the window :)||||Our room was very comfortable, with a proper double bed, rather than two singles pushed together, with an excellent power shower. Microwave in the room with tea and coffee facilities, but power arrangements are serviced via two electrical sockets and extension leads/double plugs. Television in the room with free wifi, which can be a bit hit and miss.||||This is NOT the Hilton, so don't expect luxury, but it is comfortable.

I chose this B&B on recommendation of nearby cookery school I was attending.||Perfectly comfortable and quiet, rather dated decor. I was asked to pay a £20 non-refundable deposit beforehand. The welcome was business-like. ||On the website the rate was given as £35-£45. As I had said in advance that I would not require a cooked breakfast and it was November, I was expecting to pay £35 but was charged £45 as apparently 'it is still summer season'. Thought that was a bit mean, to be honest.

Nice location ,friendly hostess,,prices on website need updating ,paid more than advertised fee, would have liked en-suite for that price......loved the laurel lined driveway .would stay again ..very handy for canal tourists ,walkers or cyclists
