I stopped by this inn for a cup of tea during a tough time, and the manager's kindness was truly exceptional. Not only did they offer a warm and welcoming space, but they also refused to charge me for the tea. Their generosity made my day. If the staff are this wonderful to strangers in need, I can only imagine the care they show to their guests. Highly recommended for their hospitality and heart. Many thanks Saltley Inn.

We have been coming here for a few years now and I must say it is such a cozy lil' inn. The new staff and managers are lovely, particularly Emma who took the time to ask us about our stay and even show us her dogs. Out of all the stays this was particularly our favorite and we can't wait to be back to dear ol' Birmingham sometimes soon😊😇

Stayed on a Saturday night in october. Doesn't look much from the outside, but my room was recently refurbished, nicely decorated and warm. I had a very comfortable and quiet night's sleep. Free parking on the road and an easy bus ride to the centre mean I would definitely stay here again.

Wow what an experience the landlord and lady who is new to the game made us feel soo welcome. After reading some negative reviews before they took over I was hesitant to stay but after the 1st night I booked myself and my team of 6 people in and we stayed the full 3 weeks while our Co tract

Appalling! Didn’t end up staying!!|Promoted as having free parking within 1 metre. IT DOES NOT!!! We couldn’t find anywhere to park within four streets of the place!|Two friends went in to find out about parking. Nobody on reception,, found the bar which was full of screaming kids running around . Finally someone came to serve and was completely uninterested and unhelpful. |Place had a distinctly‘dodgy’ vibe and we didn’t feel happy to stay even if we could have parked the car!!|We weren’t expecting luxury, just a clean, safe place to stay and this wasn’t it.|Don’t go by their website as it bears no resemblance to the place

Personally Ive stayed at this friendly establishment many times, when working in Birmingham.

Management can't do enough for you, the facilities are perfect, and the regular entertainment never fails to impress and satisfy.

This so-called Inn is hands down the most disgusting place I’ve ever encountered in my life. It doesn’t even deserve to be called a hotel—calling it a **dumpster** would be a compliment. I couldn’t even check-in because the **front desk staff are literally never there**! That’s right, there was **no one working** at all, it’s like the place was abandoned. I waited for over an hour, only to be assaulted by the revolting stench of **urine** wafting from the entrance. Just breathing the air felt like a punishment. To make matters worse, the surrounding area is full of shady characters that make you feel like you’re seconds away from being mugged. There is **zero security**, and the place feels **incredibly unsafe**. And forget about asking for a refund—**they flat-out refuse**. Their policies seem designed to rip people off. This place is a **disaster**, filthy, unsupervised, and absolutely dangerous. If you’re even remotely considering staying here, unless you want the experience of your worst nightmare, **run far, far away** from this hellhole!

Firstly the customer service was lovely. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The location is fine. Good bus route back into town and there are local amenities restaurants shops etc. That was useful.
The rooms are clean but tired. Needs revamping. The bed has seen better days. I felt every spring in the mattress. There was no remote for the TV although I did request one it never came... tight squeeze in the bathroom but I guess that is because of the room size but it was clean.
The pub itself was lovely not loud and even though I was told there was a dj playing that night. I was not disturbed by the music.
Although the guest staying were loud and had no regard for other guests. Maybe a sign up reminding them to be respectful to other guests. Would I stay again... yes if they revamped the rooms.
