The hotel is in a great location for people wanting fly from the airport.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. I always inspect the rooms before I unpack and found that they were very clean.

The best facility has to be the gym and swimming. Very well kept and great for kids.

Me and my partner had stayed here for a few nights, months ago and it was terrible, worst experience we have had… The staff are extremely rude and not helpful at all. First night we stayed, there were kids running up and down the corridor, banging on the door/walls all night, so we didn’t sleep. Second night we asked to be moved, we had told the staff not to put us next to any room were kids were staying, so they did, everything seemed fine, we enjoyed our stay, as we were celebrating our anniversary. However once we had left we was charged an additional £100 without any knowledge. After chasing this up for about a week, they then said we had damaged the room, by pulling the phone out and that there was bloody tissues on the side and blood in the bathroom and on the sheets;which we would never do. The only thing we had left in the room were petals/ candles and abit of chocolate on the sheets, we was having a romantic night, it could have easily been cleaned in the wash. They refused to refund the money, nor could they send us photos of proof of any damages! We also received a fine from the hotel for not paying for parking, even though the guy on reception took our reg and said he had added it on, we was fined £300! As we left and came back a few times during our stay… It’s absolutely shocking that we got treated like this and they just took our money without any proof and was just lies, they basically robbed us. After months & months of chasing this up trying to get a refund we got nowhere, I used to always book holiday inns, but never again now!!!

The hotel was clean, staff were friendly, helpful and the breakfast was excellent. |The room was already set up for us with extra towels, glasses for drinking, a table set up ready for my laptop. There was plenty of space including sockets for charging our devices. A nice open space area too where we could lay down a mat for the kids to play on. We were genuinely surprised with the room we got.

To access the hotel by car involves a trek through a housing estate with cars, vans and trucks on the road and pavement making it tight and difficult. On arrival, there was plenty of parking available in the hotel car park and the check in staff were great. My room had been upgraded recently and the new shower room was great. However, the water flow was very poor!! The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was average for a buffet style service. Check out staff seemed distracted with other work so that was poor.

The hotel is easily visible from the A45 however there is a bus lane on the left which you have to cross to get to the hotel and the parking is not signed so you are passed it before it is visible at all and we actually didn’t see it on the first drive past. Also we were having a late start as we’d had a late night at a gig but at 9 am we were woken at 9 am by a member of staff knocking at the door asking what time we were checking out! As check out time isn’t until 11 am I felt this was rather intrusive and inappropriate.
All that said, the staff were really friendly and we were given a warm welcome. The room was surprisingly quiet given that the hotel is situated on a busy road. The bathroom was lovely and clean and has nice complimentary Dove toiletries.
We will use the hotel again as it is convenient for where we are going and now that we know where the parking is it will be easier.

I read the reviews the night before and thought to cancel, but i had a great surprise. The bathroom was updated and shower was great. Bed was comfy though the desk and side table needed to be cleaned better, so did this myself. Standard Express layout, but had space for the 3 kids to do cartwheels, the room was so big! The 'to go' breakfast was great with lots to enjoy in the bag. The baps were huge and filling, only downside was lack of ketchup for my veggie sausage bap. Had a great experience and would definitely go back, but only if i get room 704 Or similar again. The view the awesome from that room also. No complaints from me at all.

We had a good stay and I would happily recommend the hotel.

The staff at Reception and at breakfast were the only ones we encountered but all were extremely friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately my children didn't get a great night's sleep on the sofa bed in the family room we had. The first night the mattress was too thin and they could feel the bars of the bed frame through it. We mentioned it at Reception the next morning and they arranged for a mattress topper to be added for our 2nd night. This did make a bit of an improvement but ultimately the mattress itself was just too thin and so the bars were still felt.

If we were to return we would probably not want to risk another night on a sofa bed.

The location of the hotel was great for buses in and out of the centre of Birmingham with stops virtually outside the hotel entrance. Car parking at the hotel was good and felt secure.

I stayed here at the last minute. The rooms are very spacious. Great space in the disabled rooms. Breakfast was lovely, its nice to choose your own from the buffet style and a member of staff Sue was extremely helpful making sure I had enough room at the table for my wheelchair and checked on me during service which I found very caring. There was plenty of food and drink to choose from.
