We received a warm welcome. Had a warm room with great selection of tea, coffee, horlicks, hot chocolate and even had a spoon holder (small things matter), the room was clean and fresh, slept well and had a great breakfast, poached egg cooked to perfection, really tasty bacon and a good sausage, plenty of toast and a good pot of tea and coffee. I wasn’t hungry enough to start with cereal but a good selection on offer. I chose some fresh fruit salad with a good quality yoghurt. Quality is the key here. Bathroom was stocked with hand soap, shower soap, shampoo and moisturiser. Great for those travelling lighter an unexpected stopover. Location was really good. Not far from a good couple of pubs and a shop, an Indian restaurant is nearby too. I am so fussy, I made the right choice booking White Rose Villa. There’s nothing I can find fault with. |Sadly we were only here for one night to attended a talk by Lyndon Poskitt. I would’ve like to stay longer as it was such a good location. I believe on the doorstep of some lovely walks for those who are able.|I usually take photos of the places I stay but this time we were in such a rush as we were arriving later in the day, I just forgot.|There is nothing I could’ve shown you that isn’t already on the website. |I would highly recommend the White Rose Villa.

The hosts Viv and Steve are very welcoming. The rooms are en-suite and well appointed with a well stocked welcome tray and nice toiletries. The bed is very comfortable providing a great night’s sleep. There is a choice of times for breakfast which was delicious. Make sure you try the homemade Strawberry jam. The location is a short drive from York and the York park and ride at the Designer outlet

2 night stay, 3 couples sister and friends we were all down to celebrate my sisters birthday who lives in this village, this definitely was an excellent stay. Very friendly as helpful and could not do enough for us |So clean and had the most comfortable beds and pillows. |Excellent breakfast, would highly recommend this gem of a place

This was an amazing trip and our 4th time visiting, everything is always so beautiful and taken care of down to the tiniest detail. They have amazing homemade jam and the breakfast is wonderful. It's such a beautiful place and I'm sure my whole family would recommend it to everyone. We're already booking our next visit!

Another excellent stay at the bed and breakfast. Superb location for visiting York as the park and ride is about 6 miles away at the York Designer outlet. Room very comfortable with good bathroom and tea and coffee making facilities. Lovely breakfasts and Steve and Viv are great hosts.

Probably the best B & B we have ever stayed at. The room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom lovely with a powerful shower. Breakfast was delicious with a great choice. The owners were very nice and friendly. Just a great place to stay. Thanks.

The White Rose Villa is an amazing B&B in a great location. They serve beautiful and delicious foods in the mornings with a choice of homemade jam, cereal and a selection of seasonal fruit. My personal favourite breakfast is the hash browns, which taste truly amazing. I truly recommend you to stay at the White Rose Villa.

Outstanding stay, the owners were present but not obtrusive. I had just driven 300 miles and was warmly greeted, everything I needed to know was explained to me and I was given a room and front door key. I stayed in the Primrose room. The room was clean and fresh, the bed linen smelt wonderful. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was easy to find the WiFi password and their broadband was pretty fast allowing me to do skype chats in HD and download large documents with ease. In the morning Breakfast was beautifully presented with Cereals and fruit Juices, Quality Sausage and Bacon with Mushrooms, Fried egg, beans and tomato, plus two slices of toast and large pot of Yorkshire Tea. Best B&B stay I have had in years (and that is the truth).
