Had a fantastic stay at Haggs Farm, Catherine was very friendly and even introduced us to the animal residents which was fun. The room was very clean, cosy and perfect for an overnight stay. The breakfast was great too. Highly recommended.

What a fantastic find this was for our overnight stay when visiting York for the Christmas Market. |Colton Haggs Farm B&B is a lovely quiet rural location & is ideal for the park & ride into York. Our room was very clean with a comfortable bed & a lovely spacious walk in shower. Catherine is an exceptional host, nothing is too much trouble & cooks a delicious breakfast.|Thanks very much Catherine for a wonderful stay, we are looking forward to visiting you again soon.

WOW! So much more than a B&B... even before we arrived Catherine was so accomodating, travelling to York for the Christmas market, not knowing the area, Catherine told us where to go and it was perfect, greeted with a huge smile and amazing facilities. Set in your own quarters with a bedroom, seating area, en suite, down the stairs to the kitchen area... all the little details taken care of. Up in the morning to a perfect breakfast setting with more than you could think of... we will definately be returning. If you are raking a trip to York.... this is definately the place to stay!

What a great B & B! We stayed for two nights while we toured the area and found Catherine to be an excellent host. She has such a bubbly personality and went out of her way to make our stay a good one. And her English breakfast is exceptional. We highly recommend Colton Haggs Farm!

Initially booked as a two night stop over en route to Northumberland. It's so rare to see a 5 star review we figured it had to be good. And it was so much better than we hoped for, we returned a week later on our way home. Our host Catherine was warm and welcoming. The farm made a welcome change to the usual urban nothingness, and the breakfast was delicious. We'd give Catherine 6 stars if we could!! Thanks again for a lovely break.

We stayed five nights at this wonderful B&B just outside York set in lovely, quiet countryside. Our host, Catherine, was welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. An excellent full breakfast every morning with good choices. We even had use of a small kitchen downstairs throughout the day. The room was really comfortable with excellent facilities. My wife finds many beds uncomfortable due to her disability but this was quickly remedied on request with a changed bed and bedding!|Catherine advised us on getting in and around York and the surrounding area. We will certainly be returning to this B&B as soon as we can. We have stayed in many B&Bs over the years, but this is the best ever.

The difference between 'Very good' and 'Excellent' in a review comes down to the little things, the small touches that you notice, & most importantly the desire of the host to achieve that goal, & Catherine does, she cares, and it shows! She is a charming lady & an excellent host, and it is an 'Excellent' farmstay B&B.|We will be back & selfishly I'm reluctant to publicise how good it is.|Thanks
