A one night stay at Patricia's beautiful home, I wish we could have stayed much longer, it was just so perfect.||||Our room was absolutely spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. Fresh homemade cake awaited us, and it's always great to have a cafetiere on the hospitality tray to make decent coffee. Lovely toiletries too.||||We slept well, and then had the most wonderful breakfast - scrambled eggs of the most indescribable golden yellow, and tasty fruit salad, yoghurt, croissants .... I could go on. The breakfast room looks out onto the beautiful garden, about which Pat was happy to talk. She is a lovely hostess, genuinely interested in her guests.||||Sefton Villas is a short bus ride away from the city centre, or £7 in a taxi, and I would thoroughly recommend a visit.

We had a lovely if all to brief one night stay at Sefton Villa. Patricia is a lovely host who takes a genuine interest in her guests. A spotless beautifully furnished room and ensuite with everything you need including cafetiere coffee and speciality teas. I assume Patricia is vegetarian so don't expect a Full English fry up but there was more than enough choice for breakfast with freshly made fruit salad, croissants ,home made jams and cereals topped off with a perfect cheese omelette. Exceptional value for money

We stayed two nights in Sefton Lodge and didn't want to leave! The home has a warmth about it and Patricia the owner has done an amazing job of renovating the property to an exceptionally high standard. We were made to feel very welcome and treated to some of Patricia's homemade delights throughout stay. The breakfasts also included many home grown and homemade products which were of the highest quality. Thank you Patricia for making our stay so memorable.

I guarantee you’ll love staying with Pat in her gorgeous 1860’s house in the lovely Sefton Park area, which is a mere 10 minute bus ride from the city centre but far enough out to be completely tranquil, and very green. Her beautifully restored home’s décor is all period, and without being fastidiously ‘correct’ which adds to the overall charm of the place. Pat’s breakfasts are every bit as tasteful as her interior design and her rates are incredibly reasonable. The one bookable room is large and comfortable with its own shower room and is very quiet (the whole area is). I will never stay anywhere else when visiting Liverpool.

Probably the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Couldn’t get over how lovely everything was: the spacious room, artistic décor, excellent breakfast and luxuriously comfortable bed. Amazing value for this quality: you would be lucky to find a room this nice in an upmarket hotel and it wasn't upmarket prices! And because Patricia only has one guest room you get personal service. Definitely recommended.

Husband and I attended Sons wedding at Palm House so location perfect. Pat has lovely welcoming home, spotlessly clean, amazing host and makes the most delicious cakes and preserves. Highly recommend against city centre dwellings as placed in a wonderful spot close to Sefton Park and transport to the City Centre.

From the moment I arrived at Patricia's being greeted by her as she pottered around her magnificent garden I knew this was a special place.||Everything is thoughtful and beautifully presented. A fragrant vase of flowers in the bed room and a lovely tray with cookies in the adjoining kitchenette. Home made soap, luxurious towels, and an oh so comfy bed. ||The breakfast with home grown stewed rhubarb in honey, home made sourdough bread scrambled eggs the colour of the sun, and four choices of home made jam excellent.||I really cant wait to return to this lovely place run by the lovely Patricia.

With just the one room, Patricia makes your stay feel really special. Lark Lane is 10 minutes or so away for eating options, and the bus stop into town is just round the corner. Fab place in a Fab city!
