This is a little gem that you might disregard. Yes it's old and a little tired but there are many pluses not to be ignored:

The keyless self booking in works well. Breakfast is really very good. The beds and pillows are great. Staff are lovely. Curtains light proof. Secondary glazing reduces road noise efficiently. Plenty of parking.

How many places do you go to and nobody adjusts the doors closers properly and supply cheap toilet paper. You won't find these problems at Dalesgate.

Only downside is the squeaky floors but I'll forgive that. 😉

Perfectly acceptable for an overnight stay. Travelled from Scotland for early meeting in Leeds. Didn't want to drive into Leeds for meeting so stayed over night here and caught Keighley to Leeds train next morning. .£11 return. Rooms clean but basic, comfy bed and Freeview on TV. Very good breakfast from 7:15 am and lady was very helpful. Definitely a decent stop off and will return when need arises. Car park and easy check in/out

Absolutely perfect location for my visit, as it is less than 1 mile from the company I was visiting. Clean bedroom and great bathroom with walk in shower. Walking distance to nearest pub for food etc. I will definitely use again

Lovely stay for a couple of nights. Tasty breakfast with very generous portion sizes and helpful and friendly staff. Good sized room with a bath in the bathroom which was a bonus. There was a very nice park (containing Cliffe Castle) a 10 minute walk from the hotel and the town centre was also a walkable distance away so the hotel was well located.

Great place for a short stay with a really comfy king size bed. Whilst rooms were a little dated, USB points and all you'd need are provided. Self check in with a code worked well and meant we were free to arrive any time after 14.00. Breakfast was good and plentiful to set us up for our day & served by friendly staff.

It's a fantastic place to stay. Everything was spot-on. Clean, well-appointed accommodation. EXCELLENT breakfast. One of the very best places I've stayed in for many, many years. Well done to the proprietor and the lovely staff.

Great stay, easy check in. Generous amounts tea and coffee facilities in the room. A great range of breakfast available and netflix in the rooms. Would absolutely book again.

A great base to stay. Close to Keighley and to explore Howarth.
The rooms are clean with plenty of drink supplies..The self check in is simple to follow and the breakfast is really good, lots of choice.
Only downfall was the shower didnt warm up, despite being run for a while.
The pub along the road does great food too.
