We stayed here overnight, and we had dinner. We stayed in a suite in Beckside, the room was beautifully decorated, had an enormous bathroom, and a massive shower cubicle. The food was brilliant, we had dinner and breakfast here. The staff were so helpful, they booked us a taxi for the following morning (not easy, out so far from town). Highly recommend if you are in the area.

We stayed two nights for an anniversary and it couldn't have been better. The evening meal was beautiful as was the breakfast. The staff were friendly, helpful and very welcoming. The room was gorgeous and perfect for us, with everything we needed for a great stay. We wanted a relaxing weekend in the countryside and it was exactly that. We are looking to book again soon and can't wait to stay again! It will be a new anniversary tradition for us.

Popped in last min on Saturday night. We were given a warm welcome and the waitress immediately looked to find us a table suitable for us to sit with our dog. The food was great and the fish pie (a fave of mine) was delicious! Staff were friendly and attentive despite it being a very busy venue.

We had a lovely relaxing time here. The Inn was very busy with a wedding and guests but we felt welcomed and comfortable. The room was great and the staff managed to squeeze us in for a meal ( but I recommend booking ahead!) which was tasty and we had a good choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar had a good selection of ales and lagers. We had a good nights sleep and breakfast was lovely. Looking forward to coming back again .

I visited here last weekend with family and a 4 week old baby.

The ladies and gentlemen who all served us were lovely. Nothing was too much bother.

The food was outstanding! Fresh and full of flavour. I would highly recommend visiting! Can't wait to come back.

WOW What a place for a wedding!

We have always loved coming to The Tempest Arms for great meals over the years, so when we looked round for our wedding venue - we knew it was the perfect place for us!

Natalie and her team made our wedding perfect! The beautiful barn, fireplace and beams, the wonderfully personal and friendly service!

The luxurious rooms were fantastic for our guests and superbly comfortable!

Visited last night on a rare child free evening.||||The food was superb, the chicken burger was so tasty and huge! I absolutely devoured it, even better with £5 off on Thursdays. My partner had the pork tomahawk and really enjoyed it.||||Lovely staff, quick service, beautiful setting and atmosphere. We haven't been for a couple of years due to a poor meal but so glad to have been back and had a great meal. ||||Thank you Tempest.

We had an incredible experience celebrating our wedding here on the 22nd March. Natalie was absolutely fantastic—so helpful and responsive to all our questions in the lead-up to the day which made the planning a nice experience.

Everything was exceptionally well-organized, and the day itself ran seamlessly. The room was used for the ceremony and the reception and the transition was very well organised and ran seamlessly.

All the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was outstanding—each dish was high quality. Many of our guests commented on how delicious it was, and how beautiful the venue was. The accommodation was also excellent, with rooms finished to a high standard.

We highly recommend this venue for a wedding—it's a stunning location with beautiful views and a wonderful team that ensures everything goes smoothly.
