I've stayed here twice now as it forms an excellent base for visiting various parts of the north, the Yorkshire Dales in particular. A beautifully quiet spot, surrounded by footpaths (including the Pennine Way) but not far from good routes in all directions. It's actually in Lothersdale and there are nice views up the valley from the house and the garden. For one person or a couple, this is a well-equipped place with a helpful but not intrusive owner close by.

Great place. Isolated, but within walking distance of pub, and a short driving distance of local amenities, and a 30 minute drive to some great Dales walks. Good walks on doorstep. Got everything you need really for a relaxed, peaceful break - no WiFi equal escape!!!
