We had the best day…My daughters and I treated ourselves to the Indulgence day (birthday treat for younger daughter's 30th birthday), and it was brilliant from beginning to end. Being a larger person, I was worried I'd feel self-conscious, but I didn't at all. We were made to feel welcome from the minute we arrived. The facilities are incredible - gorgeous pool with poolside heated loungers, drinks service, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi, and outside hot tub. The head and back massages were excellent - really friendly, knowledgeable therapists - and the bistro lunch was delicious. At the end of the day, the manager took the time to chat with us, which was lovely. Indeed, all the staff were fantastic, and the service was exceptional. We'll definitely be indulging again! (And again...)

We have just come back from a spa day at Stocks Hall and we feel truly relaxed! The food in the bistro was lovely and we really enjoyed our treatments, we was both asleep at one point 😂 lots of great facilities in the spa, all very clean. The reception staff were very welcoming and provided us with towels, robes and slippers. We would recommend this spa and would happily return.

Well, what a fantastic rest myself (Cam) and my friend Lucy had at our over night stay! We was first greeted by the lovely assistant manager Josie, she was just amazing and took us straight to our room which led us to a beautiful well presented apartment with two double rooms fantastically cleaned and a bottle of Prosecco as a welcome drink in the fridge.

We then proceeded to the spa facilities prior to our treatments and they were very very clean a little busy at times however it is a spa facility and shows how good it is, we have been to many facilities before and this is by far one of the best I would say boutique spa places that I would strongly recommend!

The treatments were just fantastic. The girls there were great with great pressure on a full body massage alongside a 25 minute facial.

We had an afternoon tea at AJ’s bistro and I can honestly say we enjoyed every mouthful!

Thank you, Josie and the team for a wonderful experience myself and Lucy will be returning soon and anyone who has a bad word to say I just think a boutique spa is not for you!

had a fabulous day from start to finish. each member of staff was very welcoming and friendly and helpful. the spa itself is absolutely beautiful and so tranquil. I enjoyed a spa day, so I decided I would spend the morning by the pool, enjoying the sauna, steam room, hot tub, water jets, heated loungers, and a swim. for lunch, I was booked in for afternoon tea, and every bit was mouthwatering. Then, for the afternoon, I enjoyed my treatments. The therapist who did my treatments was amazing. she made me so relaxed and comfortable and did an amazing job. I honestly cannot recommend stocks hall spa enough. I will definitely hurry back again. thank you to the whole team, especially my therapist.

Just had a lovely and faultless Spa Day here 😍
After being gifted a Red Letter Day voucher and choosing this venue as somewhere that I had never been before, that also had 4* + ratings in the RLD website, it has been the best decision of my year so far.
Compliments to the staff, from confirming my booking, the Receptionist upon arrival, Spa, and Bistro - as I booked a Spa Day inc Treatments, use of the facilities and Afternoon Tea as a treat for my self as I am worth it 👌
Special thanks to Sofia for an excellent back and body massage and scrub.
The whole experience was well worth the drive out 🙂

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Stocks Hall, especially considering it was a Christmas gift. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel unwelcome. The receptionist immediately discussed payment details in front of us, including whether a glass of Prosecco (which had been requested with afternoon tea) had been paid for, which felt incredibly awkward. We were left standing there for at least five minutes before having to ask to be shown to the spa.

Once in the spa area, we were greeted by a very unfriendly spa manager who handed us health questionnaires and then told us to wait in the lounge. Most spas offer drinks or fruit water in their relaxation areas, but here, there was nothing, we were also told no robes had been made ready for us, further making the feeling we were not welcome more apparent!!. After another five minute wait during which time the receptionist was just sat on the computer we asked what was happening. She told us she hadn’t had a chance to get our robes ready, we asked if we could have a drink and she seemed confused and surprised by our request!!

Feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome, we decided to cancel the day and request a refund. The receptionist, who claimed to be the manager, was dismissive and unhelpful, stating she had never received complaints before. When we asked for a refund, she told us she couldn’t process it herself and that she’d need to speak to the manager, despite having just claimed to be the manager. Eventually, we were refunded, but even after sending in a detailed complaint, we have yet to hear from anyone in charge.

This experience was far from the relaxing, enjoyable day we had hoped for, and it’s clear they do not care about customer experience and think they have performed their duty by refunding us and have no intention of addressing addressing the poor treatment we received. There are numerous lovely spas in the north west and we regret ever deciding to try Stocks Hall.

I have attended Spa's across Europe, UAE and the UK. Stocks Halls is definitely 2nd to none and up there amongst the best. From start to finish, the service was impeccable. All the staff were sweet, professional, and very welcoming. Definitely will be going again.

Fabulous spa and facilities and ideal for a civilised hen do with afternoon tea. Facilities were relaxing (treatment rooms, relaxation room, sauna and steam room, outside hot tub, heated loungers and pool) and staff lovely. Ordering to your lounger or hot tub by use of QR code was genius 😂 The afternoon tea spread with additional festive treats was superb, so much food we had little take home boxes. Would not hesitate to take friends back there
