A working dairy farm, Lower Claverham farm is a beautiful place to stay. Rachel was the perfect host - friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotless with lovely views over the farm, comfortable beds, and tea and coffee facilities. Delicious breakfast in the morning in the traditional farmhouse kitchen with fantastic views over the pond. Would definitely recommend staying here. Wish we had been able to stay longer.

I stayed to attend a friend's wedding nearby. I arrived having been in London for work staying in a chain hotel... in contrast it was so nice to arrive at Lower Claverham to somewhere homely and personable with views across the fields. Like I could breathe again. Everything was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. The rooms aren't en suite but this is reflected in the price. A kettle water, tea and coffee (with fresh milk - always much nicer - but it is a dairy farm!) was provided in the room. Breakfast is served in the kitchen and Rachel cooked a tasty breakfast on the range. The atmosphere was very welcoming and Rachel was helpful but not intrusive. It is a really lovely place to stay.

Really lovely remote farm house. A fully fuctioning dairy farm, and a great breakfast. The farm is a great place to be if you love quiet countryside stuff, and a bit of culture. The countryside retreat of the||bloomsbury group is a nearby gallery and museum. Maynard Keynes house was just around the corner. Some Churches that they decorated are nearby.|| However you would need a car as no shops are nearby.

Stayed with family for a 60th party locally at Lower Claverham Farm. Rachel was a very welcoming host and looked after us from arriving to leaving. We booked two rooms but when we needed a third, she even got her son to give up his room for the night so we could be together! Great weekend thank you.

Excellent B&B very peaceful and not far from all the local tourist spots. Perfect for Glyndebourne which Rachel will provide taxi service for so you can relax and enjoy the whole experience. |Thoroughly recommend.|

Rachel could not have been more friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable and well supplied. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of cereals, yogurt and fruit in addition to all the cooked options.

We chose this B & B because we were going to Glyndebourne Opera and needed to stay overnight after the performance. This proved to be a good choice although perhaps better signage off the main road would have been helpful. A beautiful farmhouse, very welcoming hosts and an excellent breakfast. Highly recommended.

Nice quiet place in the middle of nowhere and still very close to Upper Dicker, Berwick, Hailsham. A bit further are Eastbourne and Lewes. Lovely Hosts! Rachel makes you such nice scrambled eggs. Or whatever you like. Just a great place to go and to be!
