Lovely camp site, right next to a vast sports ground and countryside... Ideal if you have dogs. Amenities are adequate and clean.. Staff are very nice and helpful. Nice food pubs within walking distance..

Excellent site within walking distance of the town centre and with easy access to public transport. The site and facilities are kept immaculate by the friendly and enthusiastic staff. As mentioned in previous reviews the showers are outdated and small but are well maintained.

Good site, great friendly staff, ladies shower in the small block very poor flow of water, and only one of the two working at all, and the in the men's the same, leaving just another 2 in the other block for the whole site. Is reasonable for a site of 50 plus pitches

Lovely spot on the edge of a small town. Great wardens, immaculate facilities, just limited by pretty ropey water pressure in the showers. The not hardstanding pitches are on hilly ground, so make sure you've got plenty of blocks.

We return to this campsite time and time again usually for short breaks with kids as it is not too far from home. Always welcomed by friendly and helpful staff, the facilities and site are immaculate. At night the grounds are filled with rabbits and daytime the odd squirrel and plenty of birds to watch. There is a leisure centre with pool next door to the site and a discount for campers. There are lots of camper vans but we are tent campers. Even the grass is soft !! Nice walk into the little town / have to recommend the charity shop near Morrisons as it has really eclectic|stuff and well worth a poke about. Also little boutique called Ritzy Bits which has loads of bits and pieces for young teenage girls as well as Mums. The campsite is within striking distance of Ashdown Forest and Pooh sticks bridge from Winnie the Pooh which makes a nice couple of hours out.
