Booked in for a hot stone massage. Previously had good massages there on special occasions - birthdays, Xmas.
Today was a real disappointment.
Firstly the lady on reception was very abrupt, not the welcome you’d expect when entering a spa.
Then came the most pathetic massage I have ever had. Asked twice for the girl to apply a stronger pressure when massaging & this made no difference, she just continued to lightly massage, barely using the hot stones to do what they are supposed to. I gave up asking as it gets awkward if they aren’t listening to you. £75 wasted. Such a shame as usually I come out from a massage feeling invigorated but I came out feeling annoyed that I’d wasted money. Avoid the youngest girl (can’t remember name) to do your massage unless you are happy with a very light pressure massage.

Booked an hour full body massage. The therapist was very nice but had very little idea of what a massage therapist consists of. I advised of the problem I have and the treatment I get every week, but all I received was a very superficial skin treatment with no muscle massage. The description of the treatment gave the impression that I would have relief from aching muscles, however all I got from the treatment was oily skin. £65 down the drain. Also didn’t cover a full body massage, main working muscle not included. This was only a beauty therapy. Not told this on arrival.

Very helpful and polite staff.
Only negative is that the changing rooms and poolside floors are lethally dangerous when wearing the Spa slippers!

Excellent choice of exercise equipment and facilities. Great aircon lovely and cool to work out too and friendly helpful staff. Set in a lovely health spa .beautiful surroundings

Had an amazing hot stone massage here, coupled with the use of the swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi it was a lovely experience
