This place is perfect. Stay here. The owner is SO KIND. I had to change my plans last minute do to a family emergency and they allowed me to rebook without a second thought. The location is so perfect for the train and downtown, the restaurant and bar are excellent. I was going to Stonehenge at weird hours to do the stone circle experience and the staff helped me find and hire a taxi (who was so amazing). The rooms are perfect, clean, and well sized. Cant say enough good things.

Loved staying here. Fantastic from the start. On check in we were given a warm greeting at Hettie Bells, where you check-in, (they kindly allow free bag storage before the afternoon check-in) and the complimentary homemade cookies were a lovely surprise and greatly appreciated on the cold November day. Room chamingly decorated, fresh feeling and nice ensuite bathroom. Room not spacious but a a big double bed, tv, chair and hangers for clothes, what more do you need. We slept well, nice and quiet. Breakfast was a buffet at Hettie Bells a minute up the road. Hettie Bells is the railway cafe so would advice its not that warm in there in winter so wear a coat but that didn't take away from how much we enjoyed our breakfast there. Big yummy bacon butties, and the yogurt museli was really very good. The lady 'Red' who served us was so welcoming and friendly. She gave us some great tips of other places to go in Salisbury that were off the beaten track. It was easy to walk to all the places we wanted to see in Salisbury and perfect for catching the Stonehenge bus, just a couple of minutes away from Caboose. We would definitely return to this lovely hotel.

Really lovely staff and services. Excellent quality far exceeded what we paid. Location is topnotch, albeit little parking locally if that applies to you (it didn't to us). The breakfast and drinks provided at the Hettie Bells is really great to boot. We didn't get the chance to try their smash burgers but there's always next time!

Booked a last minute room online to fulfill a childhood dream of traveling to Stonehenge. I had purchased tickets for early access to walk amongst the stores but there was no option for transportation. Coming ftom America I figured we'd rent a car or get a ride share. After coming into London with our car service I very quickly realized I was terrified to drive so took a train into Salsbury for the night. As an American I of course assumed getting a ride would be simple, however there were no ride shares, no trains or busses that early, no open car rentals either. My host was kind enough to call around and find us a taxi service. Mind you this was after most things in town were already closed. Literally helped my dream come true. Exceptional customer service! The room was very cozy and comfortable. We were even greeted with fresh baked cookies. The town is lovely with lots of shops and every ethnic and standard food place you could imagine. Everyone from the train station on were so kind and welcoming (unlike London).Breakfast was delicious especially the bloody mary. The location is fantastic, just a minute walk from the train station. If you're considering spending time in Salsbury (even just fir the night) just do it. You won't be disappointed and more importantly stay at the Caboose.

Excellent stay over two nights. The bedroom was spacious and very clean with a very comfortable bed. The en-suite was also spacious with excellent shower. We found the room quiet, although we had an apology and warning for noise, as there were road works going on at the time. However we found this didn’t affect us at all. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.
