Lovely little spot with friendly staff and tasty treats. I went there with my partner and baby during the summer and I was delighted to see they had a proper changing area, complete with changing supplies such as nappies, wipes etc.

I went to coffee tales in Harborne first and liked the coffee. I was around the area and saw they have a branch in Jewellery Quarter. This time I tried some cakes. The cakes were a bit on the dry side unfortunately I bought the banana caramel and lemon velvet cake. The service was good however the coffee making took awhile and the queue was actually growing. It’s a nice and cozy cafe but I like the Harborne interiors better.

Visited Coffee Tales in the Jewellery Quarter yesterday while visiting Birmingham. We had the gluten free hazelnut cake and a jacket potato with cheese and beans. We have been in the UK for 3 weeks now and this was the best jacket potato I have had since visiting! SOO good! The gluten free hazelnut cake was amazing, I really liked the Nutella frosting! Plus the portions are huge, definitely good value for your money!

A cosy, and friendly cafe in the busy streets of the Jewellery Quarter I come here often when meeting my friend who works locally. We were trying out every coffee shop in the local area each week to try and find the best place for lunch. We stopped looking when we came here and made it a weekly visit.
The service is always very friendly and personable with a variety of specialty coffees, delicious home made cakes and healthy, light lunches.

The cafe has cosy decor and a friendly atmosphere, with people coming with their kids, getting on with work or grabbing a salad on their lunch break. It seems to attract a bit of everyone.

A great place to relax and enjoy some cake and company. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

I visited this place nearly 3 years ago and stupidly forgot to add a review. I remember the barista crafted our beautiful looking coffees effortlessly. She described the latte art as a mechanical process rather than a creative one.
Coffee Tales is a large place with loads of comfy sofas to indulge. There were loads of eye-catching cakes displayed in glass cases at the counter.

Coffee tales is a lovely, cosy place to have coffee, breakfast or brunch. The staff are very friendly and attentive. There is a wide variety of coffees, smoothies and other drinks. Breakfast/brunch menu is really nice too. Poached eggs on avocado and sourdough toast is delicious. Also, definitely recommend the pancakes with Nutella and bananas
