Amazing place! Booked a table in advance for Sunday for 3 people plus dog, the welcome and service we received was absolutely superb (nothing was too much trouble!), the food was all out of this world and well priced. Much fuss was also made of our dog. Can't wait to return on our next trip to Bakewell!

After dropping our things off at the B&B the Manners came recommended by the owner.
Felt very welcome and the staff were all helpful and pleasant.
We both had pie’s with great home cooked chips and mushy peas, although the portions weren’t massive it was fine for us and very tasty.
Had a couple of drinks and this pub started a brilliant weekend stay in Bakewell, cheers!

Under new management, and we were very impressed! Warm and friendly staff who were very welcoming and efficient. Gorgeous roast dinners, beef cooked beautifully, with really fresh veg. Lovely atmosphere, and nice and clean. I highly recommend! Thank you 🤩

We had a party of 5 and 4 of us had the large Yorkshire pudding that was loaded with all the Sunday roast trimmings. Well all I can say is Neil Armstrong must have collected some sort from of space rocks and donated them to the manner to use as Yorkshire puddings. If anyone reading this is a dentist, open your practice next door as you’ll get lots of customers coming in with chipped teeth. The steak pie was nice, however they’d ran out of mash and we had to suggest an alternative ourselves. Staff was friendly, cannot moan but the yorkshires, my lord.

Went for dinner today with some family and friends. They were very accommodating for our group of eight. Food was traditional English food and was delicious. The staff was so kind and accommodating and spent a lot of time helping us find the perfect dish.

Four of us met up here for Sunday lunch.
2 had the Steak pie with mashed potato and peas, both happy. The other two had delicious scampi with lovely mushy peas and chunky chips, only criticism very small portion of not so chunky chips.
Service efficient and friendly.
Would come back when next in Bakewell.

Very nice food and staff. Have eaten here several times. But disappointed that I was charged £1.95 for a small jug of gravy, as there wasn't enough with the meal. Normally, this would be a courtesy. I felt it was rather penny pinching. Not sure I'll return.
