Excellent holiday homes. Lovely garden - we enjoyed eating our breakfast in the morning sun and watching the bees soaking up the pollen. Great location, only a 5 minute walk to Bakewell, but it is via a very steep hill which my mobility impaired dad wouldn't be able to manage. Otherwise the cottage perfectly suited our needs with a bed and bathroom on the ground floor. Well equipped with DVDs, tourist information, kitchen implements. Very thoughtful hosts who have obviously thought about what visitors want when they come and very good value too!

Clean and comfortable cottage in a very pleasant setting on outskirts of Bakewell. Very friendly and helpful communication with both the owner and brother in law who lives next door. Had issue in house but he was there in minutes and resolved for us very quickly and with little fuss. Would definitely look at possibly staying again should we visit the area in the future, a great base for exploring an amazing part of England! Thankyou Nicky and Martyn for a lovely stay! 🙂

Lovely holiday cottage (we stayed in Hartshill). Spotlessly clean with all that you need for a break in the Peaks. About a 10 minute downhill walk into Bakewell (bit longer on the way back), where there are plenty of good places to eat, a market on Mondays and a variety of shops. So much to do in the area, all within easy reach. Great pre-holiday communication from the owner, and her brother lives next door and is on hand if any issues (we had none, all was perfect). Will definitely stay again next time we head to the Peak District.

We were visiting family that had booked a weeks break up north , so we could all meet up & have a great catch up after so long !
What I did see of the house was very impressive and such great value considering prices of holiday let's in the Peaks ..... big thumbs up from all of us 👍
