Incredibly charming place! The location is perfect, nestled in a beautiful area with great walks and pubs nearby. Hosts were lovely and it had everything one could need for great sleep and social cooking etc. Bathrooms were very modern and everything was of high standard. Highly recommend!

Wow! The Mill was beyond expectations, the history, the grounds, the location, the comfy beds, the hosts and more. I loved it, such a beautiful place to stay with walks to great local pubs and easy access to the peaks. Having the brewery and Aldi a stones throw away was a little bonus. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

Cannot recommend highly enough! The Mill itself is fantastic, with many beautiful details of the original historic building preserved and tastfully combined with modern features that make staying here an absolute pleasure. Hillary and Bob are great hosts, the surrounding area has some gorgeous hikes and cosy pubs. Would 10/10 recommend a trip here!

A beautiful, tranquil place to relax & unwind. Surrounded by beautiful country walks & quaint village pubs. Robert & Hillary were very welcoming & helpful throughout the stay. Could not recommend Ashford Mill more ✨

Cannot recommend a stay at The Mill more highly! The beds were so comfortable, the aga was so warm and cosy and Robert & Hillary were amazing hosts. There are also some great walks and pubs nearby.

We had the most fantastic stay here, and i would highly recommend it! Robert & Hillary were so friendly and helpful firstly with a unique tour of the Mill which included a little bit of the history. Hillary also helped direct us to near by walks. This area of the Peak district is very beautiful, and i will certainly be returning to the Mill again.
