Having stayed in the Milking Parlour last September, we decided The Hayloft would be the perfect choice to celebrate my husband's 80th birthday. Everything was as we had hoped for. The location is wonderful and everyone enjoyed the wonderful views, feeding the goats & using the games room for a bit of family rivalry at pool, table tennis and Connect 4. The BBQ was appreciated on the Saturday evening. The property is spacious, well equipped and beautifully clean. Thank you so much Julia and John.

We have just returned from a wonderful weekend stay at the Hayloft. We loved the open plan space,very well equipped kitchen and terrific dining table. Bedrooms were all a good size and everwhere was spotless!|The outdoor spaces were interesting with great views. Everyone enjoyed the games room. We would thoroughly recommend this property, and hope to return at some point.

We spent a wonderful weekend with 8 adults and 4 children in the Hayloft. The quality and attention to detail surpassed our expectations. The accommodation was stunning. It's was a perfect getaway to spend quality time with family.The games room was a hit, and the field for a game of rounders in the sun. Hope to return in the future.

Wonderful break in a wonderful Manor House Farm cottage named The Milking Shed set in a private courtyard shared with a further three quality converted barns nearby. Look no further for the stunning views right in front of you and a glorious sunset in the nearby field, the walks and the inviting hosts John and Julia. Oh and the delicious fresh farm eggs are to die for!

We have just come back from a 3 night stay at Manor House Farm Cottages. My sister and I stayed there with our partners, our children and grand children. We stayed in the Hayloft. Our break there could not have been better. It was everything I wanted it to be and more.|The farm and it's cottages are stunning. Decorated to such a high standard. The beds along with the sheets are the comfiest I have ever slept in. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need. I loved the fact that there was no bedroom that was better than any other...it was all so equal for all of us.|I think it's easier for me to list the best bits as there are so many:-||Opening the front door to an amazing view.|Feeding the goats with my granddaughter|Watching the sun set in the field where the Goods Waggon is.|Having tournaments in the games room (ping pong and pool)|The lovely walk across the fields to the magpie mine|BBQ ing in the back|All sitting together in the evenings playing games.|The seating area's outside surrounded by beautiful coutryside.||And finally the fact that I have already booked for next year speaks volumes about what I think!||Plus I need to use the fire pit next time too!

We had a fantastic weekend at Manor Farm Cottages. We were a group of 6 couples and 2 children aged 3. The cottage is beautiful with lots of rustic charm with modern features. The lounge and kitchen was perfect for the kids to play in the open plan space. The cottage is really well equipped with everything you need for a large group. |Julia the host was super responsive to all messages as we just needed a stair gate and fire guard for the little ones which was no issue at all. |Highly recommend this beautiful place, we thoroughly enjoyed the weekend catching up with friends x

We spent a fantastic week in the Cowshed which was immaculately clean. The welcome pack was a nice touch and much appreciated.
A stunning location with great walks for us and our dog from the front door but also very easy to get to other places.
We will be back.

Beautiful and perfect mini break - We stayed in the Goods Wagon which had everything you needed for 2 people - impeccably clean, hot, modern shower and great views across the Derbyshire countryside.

The farm is blissfully quiet and with a bonus games shed to entertain when it gets wet outside - the local walks are wonderful and afterwards make sure you do try the local farm produce - we tried the burgers and sausages and they were great quality and tasty. Cute welcome pack on arrival was very thoughtful and tasty.

We will book again and come back for sure.
