This is our second visit here. The first was the barn which was brilliant! This time we split our group between the chapel and deferrers. The hot tubs are perfect, the pool brilliant particularly for my asd water loving boy! Peaceful with a stunning view. The beds are firm but comfortable. The heating efficient. The local area was great for nature walks. Deer everywhere. Our interactions with the owners have been consistently good. We can't recommend the place enough. The WiFi is consistent throughout the grounds. The kitchen well supplied. Showers and water pressure just what you need after a soak in the hot tub!

The staff leave everything in place and left via cake and Prosecco to congratulate our one year anniversary! Very clean, peaceful and private, we stayed in Henry’s Haunt as a couple and our dog, everything was just perfect - I’m a returning customer, if your looking for peaceful countryside on the doorstep is Matlock, Bakewell, Chatsworth this is the place to stay. Swimming pool on site and your own hot tub !

Our party of 15 (ages 6 to 75) stayed in the hall which was wonderful in so many senses of the word: the beautiful setting; the age of the hall and its history; the highly modern facilities in the kitchen and the bedrooms; the comfortable rooms, especially our four-poster bed and the super lounge; and other amenities - the swimming pool and games room.|Booking was easy and we were given so much helpful information about everything, both in advance and in the hall itself. |The stay was a surprise gathering to celebrate a special birthday for wife, mum and grandma. It is difficult to imagine that her birthday could have been any better in another location. |Finally, this was great value for money and everyone has brought away so many memories of a wonderful place to stay.

Lovely location, great for exploring the local area. The accommodation was perfect for what we were looking for. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could want. Rooms were also good. Overall very happy. The use of the swimming pool and Sauna was also a great asset to our stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed our week in Priesthill. The location is absolutely super, with beautiful views across the countryside. The accommodation was of a high standard with a very well stocked kitchen and was lovely and clean. We enjoyed evenings in the hot tub looking out across the hills with our complementary Prosecco. It was fantastic to be able to use the private pool as a family, particularly with our two young children, and it was easy to book. I had an excellent deep tissue massage in the spa, which was a real treat. There’s so much to explore in the surrounding area but the children also really enjoyed the games room and swings/little seesaw on site. We could see there were other people on holiday too but the location was peaceful, quiet and private so we almost felt like it was just us. In comparison with some of the lodge holidays we have had in the area we thought the stay was good value for money, much nicer and we will definitely return.

We stayed in Cokaynes for my 60th celebrations. The property is fabulous and was spotlessly clean. ||It is well stocked with everything you need for a perfect stay, including umbrellas for the inclement British Weather. ||The bottle of Prosecco in the fridge waiting for us was a nice touch. ||The barn style doors are a bit style over substance and are not a quiet open or close during the night if needing the facilities, but they look lovely. ||Not a great property for anyone with mobility issues as there is a large step between the Dining room and kitchen/lounge area. Also, make sure you have someone at least 6’ tall in your party as the kitchen wall storage and towel rails in the bedrooms are very high for us vertically Challenged 5’4” folks 😂||Sadly outside wasn’t great. The step out to the hot tub is very high, uneven and an accident waiting to happen. Also, a step of some sort to get in and out of the hot tub would be a huge help. ||This said, I would return to the property and would pack a folding step stool to help with Hot Tub entrance and egress. ||Overall, a great complex with lovely individual properties and facilities. ||Thanks for a great stay

We have had a gorgeous week staying in The Barn at Harthill Hall. Nestled in a beautiful part of the Peaks with gorgeous views. The facilities are great, ensuites and TVs in all bed rooms if you need some space from family bustle. Plenty of lush space for family to relax together in the lounge and games room, and great private garden space with hot tub. Other perks include swimming pool, spa therapist and plenty of outside space to play. The staff team were so friendly, accommodating and helpful during our stay with any issues quickly resolved. Location is great as Chatworth Estate, Bakewell, Peaks Rail steam train and Matlock were all short drives away. Plenty of beautiful walks on the doorstep, with great guides from Derbyshire Country Houses team. Thanks for a wonderful week - we were sad to leave!

The Barn was an absolute gem for our group of friends! It has a very spacious layout with 6 bedrooms (each with its own en-suite bathroom), it was perfect for accommodating a large group of people.| Each room was immaculately clean and the kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary appliances and utensils. |The highlight of the barn, however, was the large living room space with its magnificent framed window overlooking the countryside. A great space for us all to socialise. |The owners of the barn were incredibly accommodating and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Would highly recommend it.
