Lovely hotel to stay at either for just a holiday away or as a wedding venue as I found this place is very popular for, and I can understand why!
The views around here are superb, right on a country lane to get to and there’s nothing round apart from fields and forests. We loved it here.
The room was great in side with a nice modern bathroom en-suite to match.
Tv worked well and there was sockets underneath so I could plug in my Apple TV and have my normal channels on.
Toiletries and coffee making station were socked up and good quality.
Bed was comfy and more than big enough, with sockets either side of the bed and a light too.
Food is great here also, we stayed and ate a couple of nights as the food and drinks are reasonably priced.
The breakfast is great here, there’s a menu you choose from and your meal is cooked for you. Along with full continental breakfast to choose from too.
So much parking and there’s an overflow car park round the back too which is easy to get to.

Excellent hotel with friendly staff. Good value for money and in a lovely location. The only downside is the same as with a lot of hotels the kettles are very difficult to fill unless you use the bath tap rather than the wash hand basin. If in the area I would recommend it

We visited for a family mother's day lunch. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and looked after us very well.
The menu for mother's day was great with lots of choice for all tastes.
The food was superb,it looked and tasted lovely and the portions were a good size.
The ambience of the dining area was really nice too with people of all ages enjoying their meals.
Their were also lots of areas to sit once you'd eaten and a TV for the football fans.
We had a great time and really enjoyed the time we spent at The Roebuck. Thank you

Comfortable & relaxing stay at this hotel for our weekend break. Nice breakfast except lukewarm coffee!!||Friendly & attentive staff at the hotel. Easy reach to Lewes, Eastbourne & Hastings for our day trips.||Bathroom could do with a new makeover plus a box of tissues in our room. Our bed was so comfortable.||Will come back in the near future.

The food was excellent, very tasty and hot. The staff was very friendly, professional and courteous. The food came out in a timely manner after ordering. Every detail was perfect. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and we'll return next time we're in the area.

Very nice old building for the restaurant and bar. I think there are rooms in the old part but our room was in the new part of the building which was fine, just a little dated decor/furniture. Some carpets in the public areas are a bit threadbare and need replacing. The food is excellent and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

Very easy check in, very friendly people , room nice and clean and spacious. restaurant food was prepared and presented beautifully. There is an upstairs and downstairs outside garden that was very lovely. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in area or need a place to stay before flying out of Gatwick Airport.

Went to the restaurant for a meal service was great from the two gentlemen there, the young lady who brought our meal out was a little rude after I told her it was the wrong order.. food wasn't very nice unfortunately which did let down the service, decor was very dated felt like I was eating in a care home
