We have stayed here many times over the last 20 years when visiting family. Check-in was easy and we had a quiet room at the back of the hotel. ||The first things we noticed was that the bin had not been emptied and the tea/coffee supplies had not been replenished. The bed linen looked crumpled when it usually looks fresh. It did appear to have been changed though just not presented very well. Two of our towels were in the bath but again they appeared fresh but had fallen off the rail. ||The bar area downstairs no longer appears to operate as a pub and it was devoid of any customers and the usual hubbub. There are no draught beers anymore either. It’s now just a soulless space. ||At breakfast the next morning our hot food order was taken(no buffet service) and was placed on the table a few minutes later as we were halfway through a bowl of cereal. No offer was made to take it away and keep it warm. The only items that retained any warmth were the eggs which I suspect were the only items freshly cooked. Altogether the worst breakfast experience we’ve had in this hotel.

Lovely room, nice and quiet with comfortable bed. no air conditioning but there's a large floor fan. No traffic noise from outside. Everything was of a good standard, all staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is served in pub next door & although the food and service were excellent, the whole place would definately benefit an upgrade with a good lick of paint on the outside. We would stay at this premierinn again.

Opposite to Horsham station and a steady 5 minutes walk to the town centre the staff couldn’t do more for you. No air conditioning but brand new 360 table fans to assist with reducing the rooms heat.

Great service in the restaurant every night including on the last night the receptionist and restaurant server liasing with the chefs to do me a to go dinner in time for a long train journey just after service started.

Would look to stay at this hotel again.

We arrived for early check in which was dealt with easily although waiting for 5 minutes as staff stretched out. Room 62 we thought was OK until bedtime when we discovered bed bugs of various stages. We were quickly moved to 63, but at 11.30pm we struggled with a guaranteed good night sleep. We ate dinner and breakfast which were adequate and the staff were friendly and attentive if not stretched. The restaurant and bar could really do with a refurbished as chairs were dirty, burnt marks. We cleared our room at 10ish and placed everything I the car but did not check out as we were in the understanding check out is 12noon. Returned from town at 11am to find our room had been cleaned throughout so sat with orhe family members room as they stayed an extra night. The hotel is a good location to town and staff were friendly.

Paid for early check in , room not ready told to come back later, early check in fee refunded by receptionist
Finally in at 8 pm following family occasion
Only 2 pillows on bed for 2 people very thin floppy pillows , used the 2spare ones same problem requested another one from reception , still not fluffy or comfortable.
No air con in room just one desktop fam
Only towels in room for one person had to request more from reception room was for 2 people.
Very poor quality sleep for both occupants , reception informed at check out next morning.
Full breakfast for 2 pre paid at on site beefeater resturant 3 non residents ( one was under 16)
Service appalling Took over 1 and a half hours for cooked food to arrive, many items were missing from order those that were included cold bacon , beans and mushrooms, informed as food was served that they had run out of certain items( we were not told when placing order)
Meanwhile while waiting for cooked breakfast to eventually arrive, the continental selection was empty despite requesting several times for this to be refilled each time was told only 10 mins as was in oven( this took 45 mins to be replenished and only by 3 or 4. Of each item) complained to waitress several times about long waits For continental and cooked food , was told there would be no charge for the non residents , but the residents were not refunded the £21.95 pre paid amount)
We have used this hotel several times over several years but certainly will not be recommending it to anyone, I am still waiting for contact/refunds as all in all was an awful experience

The only good thing about this place is the staff — they were kind and helpful throughout the stay. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The building is extremely old, and everything creaks and squeaks. If you’re coming here hoping to get a decent night’s sleep, good luck. I stayed for three nights and barely managed to sleep a few hours in total. The place desperately needs a complete refurbishment from top to bottom. Wouldn’t recommend it if you value comfort and rest.

Good location and nice room, albeit a bit chilly (it was April and not very warm). Breakfast was fine, but would have preferred to help myself to hot food items rather than having to order. Apparently ruined receptionist's day when I tried to check-in at five minutes to three.

Arrived and the 'system' was down so after a really long day, I couldn't check in. No contingency plan although staff were very kind. Waited in the bar next door with a free drink but this was facilitated by a previous employee who happened to be there and took charge. Rooms are OK, basic but clean and warm. Public areas a bit tired and worn. Morning staff didn't make eye contact or say a word! Parking was great though.
