My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The room was perfect for us, warm and clean with plenty of pillows and extra blankets. The bed was comfortable too! We were greeted by the lovely host who was very warm and welcoming and provided us with all information we needed about the facilities and local area. Breakfast was beautifully served in the conservatory and the housekeeper was very attentive to our needs. Would highly recommend this venue! Thank you Vicky and team x

A luxurious B&B with beautiful rooms, there is free parking available in front of the hotel.
The city of Canterbury is within walking distance (1km). A friendly staff in the morning at the breakfast that is served in the sun parlor.
Vicky is an amazing host who makes you feel very welcome.
Although there are rooms that are on the street side, they are very quiet because there are new windows in front of the original ones.
A wide variety of tea, coffee, water and a biscuit is available in your room.

It was a nice stay at a beautiful B&B - The city is within walking distance.
A wide variety of tea, coffee, water and biscuits are available in your room!
The only let down is that the owner Vicky has got a very low mindset on countries like India, Egypt as she has called those countries ‘backward’ during our conversation at the breakfast table. Being an Indian and married to a British man, our conversation with the host started with the culture, diversity of my country. It was so sad to see how the host only had to talk about the ‘slums in India’ calling it a ‘backward’ country. It made us feel so uncomfortable that my husband had to be pushy about India and had to repeat the good things to avoid embarrassment.
I cannot speak for Egypt as I never travelled there but I have seen some beautiful pictures of that country. I can only say, as an Indian, it is 2024 and you should research a little bit more before calling India a backward country. Such a shame.

Stayed one night.
Friendly warm welcome.
Lovely room. Shower plenty hot water and probably most power.
Very good breakfast especially the poached eggs.
Limited parking but on street available just around corner.

Spotlessly clean little b&b. The breakfast is simple but homely and tasty — when was the last time I was woken up by the wafting aroma of sizzling bacons? The owners are super friendly. I am feeling as if I am staying with some close relatives.

The cookies and books in the rooms are such a delight. The shower has strong water pressure, and the bedding is thick and comforting. I also adore the stained stained glass windows and the sunlit breakfast room, and the resident puppy!
(I don’t have pets with me but I really appreciate the veterinary hospital info page in the guest room handbook.)

It’s about 10-15 min walk from the train station and old city centre, quiet but convenient. I would consider bringing my family back here if I come back to Canterbury.

Vicky and her team run a professional and very friendly, quiet and clean inn. Bfast comes from a varied menu prepared by Vicki and team and its fresh and delicious. Without one caveat we'd reco yorke lodge while in canterbury.
