Good day for Australia. We came for 2 days but stayed for 4 days. I don’t care what anyone says about this place, but we enjoyed our stay here, The place is kept very clean, yes the carpets need updating but then I don’t sleep on the floor, beds were very comfy. English breakfast was very healthy and well cooked to our taste specially when I like crispy bacon yum. The Host Margaret made us very welcomed, she is a very nice lady, hope to one day come back here from Australia. The surroundings here are bushy and very country look and feeling, plus so close to Whitsable and Hernbay, Margate, Dover,Folkestone, Canterbury and many more places. Stayed first week in August and enjoyed every minute. Margaret was a very friendly host.
The room was clean and had en-suite shower room with all toiletries provided.
The breakfast was delicious with choice of cereals, fruit, yoghurts and full English breakfast. Margaret would ask if there was anything she could provide that we would like so went out of her way to please. Also made sure all rooms had a fan during the heatwave which was much appreciated.
Lovely setting and so close to many towns and seaside resorts. Informed all my family in case they would like to stay here in the future.

Margaret was a very friendly host but she needs to reinvest the money from her over priced rooms into making improvements. As others have said the entrance hall carpet was threadbare. The bedroom furniture was very dated. Although the towels and bedding were clean, the room needed a makeover and a good clean. Breakfast is served in the front hall below the bedrooms so don’t expect a lay in as it’s quite noisy. A choice cereals, fruit, yogurts would be nice for the money. The accommodation is down a lovely quiet lane and could be lovely. Unless your expectations are low I’d recommend staying elsewhere.

Due to bereavement had to find a place to stay at short notice. I grant you it was a bank holiday weekend, but what's rip off how can this be worth the money? For us it was a needs must. What you've read before is all true. To say this place is dated is spot on. The shower had cobwebs in it and mould around the base. The desk fan in the room had no front cover which in a 3 bed room (probably for a child) isn't very good at all and the claims of fast broadband? 4g is much faster and more reliable.||The bed was seriously uncomfortable and if it wasn't for our circumstances, would not have stayed here. ||The host was delightful in all fairness and the breakfast was very nice. However eating at the foot of the stairs in the lobby was surreal.||Overpriced for a B & B I'm afraid to say.

It was all I needed for a little solo break. Margaret was lovely and we had a great chat. The family were friendly too. Comfy bed. Lovely full English that set me up for the day. Very quiet and peaceful couldn’t ask for anything more.

We were lucky to find this place at the last minute on a very busy weekend in Whitstable. The owner Margaret was straight forward and accommodated our late arrival, she is an excellent host and made us feel at home! Full English breakfast outside in her front garden set us up perfectly for our trip to Canterbury.

Stayed here for 1 night to visit nearby Whitstable and Broadstairs.|Host Margaret was excellent, very accommodating and gave us choice of rooms.|Accommodation itself was very lovely, neat, clean and spacious. Room has kettle, some biscuits and tea / coffee and a nice Tele.|Parking right in front of the property.|Finally an excellent English breakfast to start the day off.|Highly recommended.

When arriving at the accommodation we were deeply disappointed by the looks. Dirty windows and dirty drawn curtains, it looked like the owner had moved out some time ago. Although the owner showed me the room and the fact that we had already paid for it she couldn't convince me that the stay would be okay. We left and went looking for other accommodation.
