⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Beautiful Setting, Warm Hospitality & A Lovely Afternoon

We visited the Crescent Turner Hotel in Whitstable today for a show-around as we’re considering it as a potential wedding venue, and I have to say — it left a very positive impression.

The location is absolutely stunning. Perched on the hillside, the hotel offers incredible views across the Kent coast and countryside — a real hidden gem with a peaceful atmosphere and a genuine sense of charm. It feels private and tucked away, yet still close enough to Whitstable to be convenient for guests.

The staff were welcoming, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do. The team took the time to walk us through the venue, answer our questions, and help us imagine how our day could unfold there. The function space is bright, airy, and tastefully decorated, and the grounds are beautifully kept — ideal for photos and relaxed moments throughout a wedding day.

After our tour, we stayed for cream tea on the terrace, which was a lovely way to take in the views and get a feel for the hospitality side of things. The tea was fresh and well-presented, and the service was friendly without being overbearing. The only slight downside — the scones were delicious but a little on the small side. That said, the overall experience was very enjoyable and left us feeling well looked after.

Excellent location. Lovely room very clean and tidy. Amazing atmosphere with wonderful views of the coastline. Sarah and her team were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. I have numerous allergies and the chef cooked my food to suit me. Unfortunately I was unwell on our last night and the chef Dan who is also a first aider came to see me and told me that when we go there again to let them know and he will make a menu for me that takes my allergies into account the waitress (Emily) I think her name was is a very lovely person and I can only imagine a pleasure to work with. This is an excellent value for money hotel with exceptional service. Sarah was very kind and on our last morning checked to make sure that I was well again. We will definitely be going back. I've visited just for dinner and drinks but more recently we stayed 2 nights for a wedding.

Check-in was easy and the room gorgeous with stunning sea views.

The terrace is a great place for a drink and to enjoy the view.

I booked dinner in the Palm Pavilion for the first night, and it did not disappoint. The meal was delicious and the service was excellent.

Breakfast both mornings was superb - we had a feasting breakfast with the wedding party one morning, and the previous morning, their waffles went down a treat!

The staff are all polite, friendly and helpful. I can't recommend the hotel highly enough!

I can't say enough good things about this hotel, everything about it was perfect. Fantastic food (we had breakfast and evening meals), the staff were so lovely and couldn't do enough for you and the rooms are absolutely gorgeous. The patio out the back of the restaurant is a lovely touch, super peaceful and perfect to enjoy a drink if the weather is nice. We even got free upgrades with our rooms.||Would 100% come back to this hotel, would recommend to anyone staying in the Whitstable area.

Wonderful location and sea view. Very clean.
Breakfast was well worth it. You could order as much as you wanted and unlimited tea and coffee. Food very good. Ate in the restaurant the first night, top class. All the staff friendly and pleasant even cleaning staff . Definitely will be visiting again

The wedding held here was fantastic. Sarah and her team were amazing and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was great and plentiful and the bar served everything you wanted at reasonable price. Really really great venue.

Lovely hotel, we had room 15 for our family of four and it was really spacious. We had a roast at the restaurant which was great and good selection for kids. But the best thing about the hotel is the view from the restaurant and terrace, the sunset was stunning, a lovely place to have drinks on a sunny evening.
