Good welcome from owners on arrival. We stayed in Apple Tree cottage. We had read reviews of poor cleanliness and had prepared. This was indeed the case (floors and under sinks and toilets filthy), but once a good wipe down, we settled in nicely. Property was spacious for the 4 of us. |Pleasant stay overall. Shame there had been cliff slump along the coast as no matter how nimble you are, you can not access it. So, any beach visits had to be by car. |Visited the needles old battery, which had a great view of the needles, much better than the local cable car visit. |The local beef and berry shop had the most delicious grapes, and for overall treaty farm shop, Harvey Browns had a good selection of things. |Recommendation to owners to work on cleanliness and larger towels for guests, 4 hand sized towels provided were far too small. |But overall, it is a good property to stay in for a family of 4.

Great location, down a very quiet lane, lots of land. The owners are very friendly and their dog Pablo is adorable, there's also 2 ponies which my daughter loved feeding apples to and talked to them at every opportunity. We stayed in Hazel Cottage which was perfect for us, had everything you could need in the kitchen including a dishwasher! It's a short drive into Brighstone where there is a village shop and a pub. I would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed at Chilton Farm over the Summer bank holiday weekend. We had a wonderful time away from work. Susan is one of the best hosts. She makes you feel at home. Blissful morning views of beautiful sunflower fields with distant sea view and horses grazing grass lazily. Beautiful corn fieds opposite to the property makes you feel the real countryside vibe. I’d love to visit this place again.

AVOID THIS AT ALL COSTS!! We paid nearly £1000 for the week. The cottage was set in a beautiful location but unfortunately the cottage itself was dirty and smelly. The furniture was old fashioned and not comfortable. The shower had hardly any water coming out and therefore couldn't be used and the taps were hanging off the wall. 7 of us had to share the tiniest bath I had ever seen! This property does not comfortably accommodate 8 people! The old tired sofa and chairs was only enough to sit 5 people the rest of us sat on hard wooden dining chairs every night. The kitchen floor was dirty and sticky. The beds hard and the linen damp. The worst for me was the smell of damp and wet dog smell. Everything mismatched. The Owner let's herself in the property when ever she pleases. One room had a broken blind which the owner knew about but didn't fix until we complained. The water so hot it's scalding but no warning signs anywhere. You are then expected to strip the beds before you leave 🤣 This lady is making a whole load of money for very poor accommodation. Previous reviews are similar from a year ago but still no improvements been made. We will never recommend her cottages to anyone please avoid if you want to enjoy your stay !!

We have just spent a week here. Our cottage was a 3 bedroom and we had 5 adults and a toddler.
The cottage was spacious, clean.

The rooms were lovely, our mattress was a bit firmer than we would choose but that a personal preference.

There is a laundry room if required, one thing to bare in mind, you need pound coins for the elctric meter. You get £10 free which does last a long time, we topped up £7 but we did cook a few times.

It is quiet and off the beaten track, nice place to go for a walk. There is a tennis court you can use too.

Everything is about 30 mins away which is fine, quick to drive there.

Wonderful owners. Well equipped cottage and superb location with beautiful surroundings. We stayed in one of the smaller cottages for a few nights and it was perfect for 4 of us. They have larger cottages available too. There are washing and drying facilities, board games and books available. Perfect location for beaches, day trips and walks. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed for a week in Appletree Cottage at Chilton farm in October 2021. We had a fantastic time and loved the location, Susan the host and the lovely Pablo the dog. Susan was really friendly and went over and above to help us. The cottage is a touch dated but no big deal it all added to the character of the place. All facilities are available and there is a washing room for laundry, tennis courts, pond and horses to feed. There is an outdoor bbq area and its lovely and quiet for a good nights sleep. Well located for attractions and our family ages ranged from 11months to 62 and we all equally enjoyed it.

Chilton farm cottages is in beautiful countryside, such a peaceful relaxing week. Made good use of the tennis courts, the hosts were very welcoming and were there if any problems arose. Certainly felt like home for a week. A few things could have made it five star for us, softer mattress in one of the double rooms, extra cutlery and a comfortable set of chairs to sit on.||All in all, would definitely recommend to any family wishing to visit the area.||Thank you for the memories ❤️
