We hired Sophie and her team to cater our April 2025 wedding at Limekiln. It was an all-vegan wedding which can be tricky to cater for, and our guests also had quite a few dietary requirements e.g. nut allergies but Sophie was able to cater for everyone. FR Events catered the canapés, the main meal with dessert served in a family style, as well as late night food as a buffet. We really enjoyed the food, as did our guests who complimented us throughout the night which was great!

She arranged a tasting for us and it was nice to meet her ahead of time as well as try out the food which was delicious (the creamy bean dish was an absolute standout dish but we loved all the food). She also designed some lovely menus for the meal, which looked great.

She also handled everything on the day including the tablescaping with dried flowers, which meant we could enjoy our wedding without any worries. I would recommend FR Events, especially if quality plant-based food is something that's important to you

Sophie was amazing! We hired Sophie to cater a hen do evening with an interactive cooking class and she went above and beyond to make the experience so fun and special! We all felt it was the perfect level of 'hands-on' - she taught us how to make gnocchi from scratch and the food she prepared (3 courses!) tasted absolutely amazing. Sophie was flexible responsive and accomodating during planning, and catered for our dietary requirements. We would highly recommend Sophie!!

Florence Road Events, headed up by Sophie Gordon, is a picture of what events catering should be. Sophie is organised, gives clear instructions to employees and makes sure everything runs so smoothly guests forget there’s even a kitchen. Lovely to work with, and the food being incredible is an even bigger plus 🙂

Soph & Paul were the perfect team on a recent retreat I hosted. They provided the full experience from beautiful table settings to ambient lighting, delicious food and beautiful presentation. They were super efficient with prep, service and clearing down, making my life on the retreat super easy! Would 100% recommend!

Sophie recently organised the catering and decor for our wedding reception at Studio Voltaire in London. From start to finish her communication was clear and attentive, she made the effort to understand our needs and what we envisioned. We felt reassured that everything was progressing despite the pressure of time (organising a wedding within 3 months is no joke!).

The evening itself was magical. We couldn't have wished for more and wouldn't change a thing. Sophie and Paul impressed us with their creative twists to simple dishes, combining seasonal ingredients to create different/new flavours that worked so well. The guests were impressed and couldn't stop saying how wholesome and comforting it was. It was also a winner when non-veggie guests (who were initially a little sceptical by no meat or fish) said they were surprised how delicious the meal was. The table arrangements and lighting contributed to the homely/cosy atmosphere we aimed to achieve, and they nailed the aesthetic of it.

We would not hesitate to work with them again and would definitely recommend to anyone in need of event production and/or catering!
