We were gifted a voucher to take a class here and we chose the Dim Sum class. The class was lots of fun, and the teacher was helpful and on top of what was going on around the room. We made so much food & got to sit down at the end and eat what we had made. We also had lots more to take home. I'd highly recommend booking in 🙂

We just had a wonderful evening at the Community Kitchen. I bought a Thai cooking course for my wife’s birthday, we both learnt so much and the level wasn’t too daunting. The chef was excellent, clearly very skilled, and a great instructor! I definitely recommend this for anyone looking to spice up their cheffery. My wife and I have different skill levels, and we both came away having learnt loads. Excellent night out!

From the very start this was a 5 star experience. Walking in to the kitchen I was impressed with how well-equipped the space was, as well as the modern feel and the friendly welcome from Jo. We sat down and discussed everything I wanted out of my bake-off party for my 40th birthday and she planned it all perfectly for me. It was stress-free and I was really impressed with the level of care and attention Jo put in to thinking through all the details. On the night we were able to get there early and put up bunting and fairy lights to make the space look glitzy for the night. We made learned how to make choux pastry, crème patissiere and a praline with Eloise who was a fantastic teacher. She was calm, easy to follow and really friendly. We were able to decorate our creations with some beautiful gold leaf, chocolate sauce, raspberries and range of other toppings to make them look really special. It was BYO so everyone got to drink whatever they wanted, which meant you could easily cater for all tastes and whether people wanted to drink alcohol or not. We have 2 vegans in our group and they enjoyed making their vegan Mille feuille. The night was filled with fun and laughter from the start to the end and I can highly recommend Jo and her team for a special occasion. All my friends commented on how much they loved doing something a bit different and we all had a fantastic time. Thanks Jo and team! X

Community Kitchen is an incredible place! My company has been multiple times and we keep going back because we love it so much. Run by such lovely people and the chefs are so informative and also fun (and patient!) You can tell the volunteers also love it there and we all get to eat the food at the end and sit around socialising. Absolutely would 10/10 recommend!

I've been to a few cooking classes at The Community Kitchen and each one has been fantastic. We've learned to make some really interesting meals, tried new foods, and grasped new cooking skills. Not only that, but eating together as a group afterwards is always such a nice experience. The chefs and volunteers make the experience seamless and the entire team are so lovely. The team also does amazing work for the community so it feels great to support such a brilliant organisation. I would definitely recommend The Community Kitchen!

Attended the Bake with a Legend course at the weekend which was bought for me as a present. The venue is ideally situated near the station and was spotless and well equipped. The staff are super friendly and the session with Andrew Smyth from GBBO was great fun. Loved it so much have booked another class in January with Kenny from Masterchef!
