Good food, nice staff! Highly recommend. I had the curry Chicken, with that I can extrapolate that the remaining might taste like.👌

Worst Jamaican food I’ve ever had. I ordered two jerk chicken meals (one small, one regular) and was extremely disappointed. The chicken was soggy and completely fell apart—bones included—as if it was stewed and then lightly grilled. It lacked any of that essential smoky, charred flavour you'd expect from authentic jerk. The rice was bland and completely tasteless.

To make matters worse, the chicken had an off-putting smell that made me question its freshness. We were only given one small tub of coleslaw for both meals, and even that was inedible—watery, sour, and clearly gone bad. It tasted fermented. The "jerk sauce" was more like sweet and sour sauce—nothing like real jerk seasoning.

I’ve tried Jamaican food at over 7 different places in Brighton, and this was by far the worst. For £25, this was a complete waste of money. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Avoid.

Went there this evening after looking for a jerk restaurant in Brighton for a while, food was amazing not to spicy just perfect; good portion sizes would defiantly recommend we’ve been to lots of Jamaican restaurants and this was one of the best will be returning very soon! The guy working in there was lovely and chatted to us the whole time! 🙂

I had a lovely goat curry here and it was delicious and nourishing. Meat falls off the bone and melted in my mouth, and you could taste every herbs, spices and care that went into it. Just layers of authentic flavours in every bite. I regret going for medium portion instead of large. The rice tasted really fresh too. Not too spicy and you can always ask for hot sauce. Met Kevin the owner, very nice guy and down to earth. Will come back again.
