Fantastic place to go for a bite to eat whether its breakfast, lunch, or coffee and cake.
The food is amazing, the service is fantastic and the staff are lovely.
I quite often come here when meeting up with friends.
They are also dog friendly which I didn't realise although I probably wouldn't take my little lab there just purely because she would be drooling over the smell of the food lol. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who's not been here before.

Absolutely lovely, freshly cooked food. Incredible fish and chips,
BUT, the Garlic mushrooms on 1 piece of toast is a total rip off for £8.00. The child's sausage sandwich for £4.00 wasn't enough to feed the ducks with (two tiny sandwiches) They messed up the order and two of us had to wait 15 mins whilst the others had eaten.

It was the first time visiting fays bistro. Its a lovely little place with a nice atmosphere. Staff are very helpful it is also dog friendly which is great when its cold outside. I had the parsnip leek and apple soup which was delicious, great portion sizes and a huge selection on there menu. I would highly recommend

Excellent Bistro, Great lunch! We had Jacket Potato and Fluffy Pancakes followed by Pecan Tart. It was delicious and all freshly made on-site and it was all so tasty. A relaxing and very clean place which is dog-friendly and Vega Friendly too and they care about the customers - Thank You.

Fantastic service and beautifully cooked and prepared food. Don't let the plain shop front put you off. The people in here are fantastic and the food is great quality and my fish pie was packed with fish and tasted divine! Would love to pop back for a breakfast next time we are in the area. This is definitely the place to go when visiting Calne!

Good food and friendly staff. Lovely to relax by the river with a coffee. Until a few days ago when I was horrified to be charged a 75p supplement for the inconvience of being lactose intolerant and having to drink non dairy milk. Shocked doesn't describe it. At a time where a lot of cafes have stopped charging for non dairy (although I understand why they do charge), and those that still charge add 20p-40p (and rarely, 50p) Fays cafe have almost doubled the average supplement at a whopping 75p. That adds approximately 20 percent to a cup of coffee, to anyone who gets physically ill when drinking cows milk. Lack of understanding or discrimination? To the management of Fays cafe, please reconsider your outrageous supplement charge for lactose intolerant customers and bring it down to 40p max.

Fay's Bistro is, in my opinion, the best place to eat breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea in Calne. The food is fresh and beautifully presented. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and there's always a smile.
My husband and I are local and spend time there regularly and will always recommend it. It's a fab place to eat and spend time.

Pretty little café by the river. Any establishment that plays "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" by Blue Öyster Cult over the house speaker system will always get my vote!...
