First time using a travelogue||The family room was nice size & clean. Staff was nice, the build was clean and quiet, outside was tidy too. Nice area, close to shops, cafes & 24 hr parking which have very big parking spaces available. ||Breakfast was fine if you if have scissors on you to get into the milk, you'll need to ask for sugar too. The room didn't have enough tea,sugar and milk available for a family room||The beds were nice and comfy and|We would go there again

We thought we would try Travelodge for our stay in Newark as other accommodation seemed quite sparse. We stayed at a Travelodge in Chesterfield some years back and our experience in Newark was extremely positive. The hotel was spotlessly clean well appointed with everything that you will need, including air-conditioning in the room. The hotel receptionist that we dealt with was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the area. We did not opt for the breakfast, but over the road was a wonderful little Café called dinner jackets. Just some information, they only take cash.||The pubs and restaurants in the area were also good selling a good variety of ales. We ate in a very nice place called the RAM. Just another piece of information 40% of pizzas on a Thursday night.||One review I did read a person said that in the bathroom there wasn’t any space to put your arm between the sink and the toilet. Why would you want to do this anyway? When you can put your elbow on the sink? The bathroom was extremely well appointed and very clean. I’m sure you can lean on a sink for a couple of nights.||Overall, a very pleasant day, some very pleasant beer and very pleasant food.||We will be back to explore the other watering holes that we didn’t manage to see.

Not that bad for a Travelodge but no parking (you have to pay at a dodgy multistorey NCP car park across a busy road) and you still have to pay for hotel WiFi (as if it's 2005 rather than 2025...). It's a new building but it has pokey rooms with no storage, my room wasn't clean (pubic hairs in bathroom and food crumbs/rice left near bed), and the only improvements from older Travelodges are a few more plug sockets (✅) and air con, which would have been good, but was broken in my room.

We arrived early before check in and were not allowed to leave our luggage at the hotel due to "security reasons". Check in later was fine but the room was quite poor for the price we paid (£122). Marks on the sheets, missing plaster from the walls, sticky carpets, no shampoo/body wash in the container in the shower. Would not recommend or stay again.

Booked a room last minute due to a change of plan from racing at Fulbeck. Very friendly and helpful staff when it came to parking our large van. Room was very clean with what you'd expect from a Travelodge and saw us comfortably through the night. Good location in the town with Asda and other food outlets a short walk away. Overall a pleasant stay at a good price!

Excellent service from staff, Dave was a particularly good & efficient host, my early check in amendment was well handled from phoning it in to being received at reception. An issue with my room's TV was swiftly resolved.

The room was tiny, not good storage for clothes, no draws. Small bathroom with shower and shower curtain. It is on a corner so not the easiest to take luggage to and from! I paid over £100 for one night and had better and cheaper accommodation elsewhere. Website said £10 for earlier check in from 12pm but was charged £15 as staff said they had not updated their website! For a large company like this you would think their pages are regularly updated. |Lady behind reception was not friendly! |Location is ok as near coffee shops, asda, etc.|Sorry but personally this has put me off booking a travelodge ever again!

I like this hotel and it's a convenient location and squeaky clean. However bring your own soap! The dispensers are rubbish - the front came off one whenever you used it and the other didn't dispense soap unless hit with more force than wet hands can muster. The window of the room was locked shut which made it stuffy.
