We were here for one night, attending an event nearby. On arrival, the greeting was friendly and helpful. Can't fault rhe desk staff! We found our way to our room. Admittedly, the country was in a heatwave, but opening the room door was like opening the oven. Despite the brave but puny little fan doing its best, the room temperature was at 30°. Despite opening the window as much as you're allowed this days, which isn't much, we could not get a draught through. The room was clean though, and the shower good and welcome! Off we went to the on site air conditioned pub for a very good dinner, returning to find the temperature had not dropped at all. So, sleep for us was out of the question. We were far from the only guests having trouble with the heat. On checking out next morning, far from refreshed, we complained, to be told that lots of guests had complained and that they reckoned they were the only non air conditioned hotel in the chain. C'mon, a busy place like that, sort yourselves out! Expecting people to pay good money for a sleepless night baking gently is beyond a joke.

Have just spent two nights here. Like on our previous visits it was very nice, ground floor room, comfortable bed lovely staff. Abbie ( hopefully i have spelt it right) on reception was very chatty and friendly. |The room was on the warm side but having a fan helped. It's not the hotel's fault, just the way buildings retain heat.|We ate breakfast and dinner in the on-site restaurant, food and drink ok, staff friendly.

I have been a massive fan of Premier Inns but my recent experiences have not been so good. No matter which Premier Inn you go to the WiFi is shockingly bad, I can’t think of any other hotel that is worse. Why this company continues to use Virgin WiFi I do not know.|The Newark Premier Inn is large and nicely laid out, the beds are comfortable and the room is clean. However, there is no air conditioning and the temperature in the room is 26oC. We have had to jam the door open in an attempt to create a draft.|The prices of Premier Inns have gone up significantly over the past number of years. However, it seems like there is very little reinvestment into the hotel infrastructure.

Wonderful reception Staff. I stay in a lot of Premier inns for work and always get a nice greeting at reception but I have to say the greeting and service I received today was by far the best experience I have ever had. Nothing was to much trouble from the early check in to sorting breakfast the reception staff were helpful and so friendly.

The amenities and facilities are precisely as you'd expect, a great bed and a Beefeater next door for breakfast. The service upon arrival was excellent, Vicky, was helpful, kind and brilliant beyond all expectations. I had messed up my booking, and Vicky saved the day, fixed my booking and did so with professionalism and sincerity. I will be staying again, no doubt.

A very clean and comfortable room. Staff were super helpful and friendly. The meal deal was terrific with a lovely dinner and a super value breakfast.

Our stay was very pleasant and convenient to the wedding event. Staffing was very professional and helpful, the rooms were very comfortable. Parking was very convenient and a variety of eateries available at walking distance was good and even more variety if you travel a few minutes.
