Went on a Wednesday evening for a date night dinner which was a great choice.
The service was excellent from the start with Ben behind the bar.
The food was sublime and service just perfectly balanced, not too intrusive and attentive enough.
It's a hidden gem.

Classic car/ motorcycle day with love music. Area not big enough for all vehicles to park up on premises. Cars parked on street .

Lovely place, wonderful staff, beautiful atmosphere, but the mozzarella fries are tesco and the gravy is bisto. Glad to know chef mike is still employed, but if you’re not proud of it then please leave it off the menu. My family really enjoyed their choices, they in fact argued with me about my choice of review, but I think if you’re going to offer something on the menu to paying customers then it should be something you’re proud of! Something that you serve with a smile, and something that customers are happy to eat with a smile. I don’t feel like my food was that tonight, but I truly have high hopes for when the menu isn’t a throwback one.

Gorgeous looking pub, inside and out. Oak beams, nice lighting, a great bar with Herringbone brick work.
Super relaxed feel, staff are lovely and friendly.
Menu has a great choice of traditional "British" food and quite a bit of Italian style food, this also follows into the dessert menu.
Sunday roast with the option of Steak and ale pie instead of the the beef and turkey. The pie pastry was lovely, the meat inside was full of gorgeous beef that just fell apart. Mmm.
Everything is cooked to perfection, flavoursome, presentation, filling.
Dessert menu I struggled to pick one out as there are so many I could have chosen. I went with coconut and lime frozen dessert, it managed to find space in my already full up belly. I'm definitely coming back.

Visited here for a suprise family wedding anniversary event. Staff were amazing . Food was out of this world . The a la carte portions were huge . Even the kids portions were big for a kids portion. All food arrived hot for the 18 seated. Delightful on a return journey to Lincoln I'll look for the garden pods as the area is amazing .
