There is NO way our trip to Bures, England could have been any better. First time flying in 2-1/2 years, and our hosts Kate and John could not have been more accommodating. I'm not usually keen on spending time in someone's home I don't know, but from the moment we met they made it clear that we were welcome. The home and accommodations were cozy and welcoming, including the kitty cats Peanut and Betsy. Kate not only made breakfast with farm-fresh eggs and bacon for us (she was so kind to have offered) but she also drove us to an 11th Century country church that we would never ever have discovered on our own. From there, with Kate's guidance, we enjoyed an amazing walk through the English countryside back into the village. My significant other's surname is Bures, so this trip was an extra-special jaunt for us. And Kate and John made it all the more special. I can not recommend this place enough. All that Kate and John were concerned with is that we enjoyed our time. Well done!

Lovely house and garden in a gorgeous, quaint rural location. The room was very cosy and comfortable. We stayed as a couple with our baby and we could not have asked for more! There was even a big box of toys for the little one to play with. That being said, the best thing about this place was the fabulous host Kate, who was kind, helpful and friendly. We hope to stay again soon!

Room is more a suite. Through to a sort of 'ante / dressing' room leading onto the shower room with the fantastic big shower. If you are looking for a full english breakfast, not your place but the toast and muesli suited us perfect. Fabulous value for money, gorgeous house loveley garden.
