Not quite what we were expecting. |It was reasonably clean, but a bit tired. The person who dealt with us throughout our stay was helpful. The bed was comfortable but so low that my partner struggled to get on and off it. There was no bin in our room so we had to leave our rubbish on the dresser. Also no chair to put clothes on. The bedside lamps were partially obscured by the extended edges edges of the headboard and the room light was dull, both making it difficult to read in bed.|We hadn't realised that it was a shared bathroom, but all was good, it was clean and we didn't have to wait long for it to become free. |The curtains in our room were ripped and grubby. They didn't quite meet in the middle either.|A continental breakfast with a reasonable choice was left out for us to help ourselves.|It was ok for one night and was, as described, very quiet there.

Absolutely lovely guest house, everything clean with attention to detail, we had a very comfortable room with king size bed.
Excellent full english breakfast. The owners were very friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay.

Stayed at the peaceful place for 1 night after a family funeral. Extremely good service and a lovely couple who owns the property. Would definitely come back again. Lovely cooked breakfast and extras if you wanted them. Bed was nice and comfy and had a brilliant nights sleep.

The host was lovely and the breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately, the room smelled of mildew, like musty towels. We stayed away during the day and only went there to sleep. The room was also extremely tiny, no room to put luggage at all. We kept the window open through the night but the smell was still very off putting.
