We had a fantastic time staying in this lovely little guest house. It had everything we needed and the hosts were fantastic. Lovely comfortable and clean rooms. Ideal location. We will hopefully be back again next year.

We were looking for somewhere that would accept our Rottweiler and afford us total privacy during our stay and we found it at Friars Lodge. We loved the clean and well presented facilities the cottage provided. The owners Paul and Sarah are excellent hosts and fully understand what it takes to make a customer comfortable. We were impressed with the standard of the property, the two bedrooms had lovely crisp, white bed linen, the ensuite shower room and bathroom had fresh towels and lovely accessories. The kitchen had everything you would need to cater for yourself and the lounge/dining room was very comfortable. The heating and wifi was excellent and there was no restriction on useage. We fully recommend this lovely cottage to anyone wanting to explore the area and return to home from home. Excellent service.

The hosts here were lovely and extremely helpful. There were nice extras like special toiletries and bottled milk. The 2 bedrooms were small as was the kitchen but the lounge was spacious. The outside area was very pleasant but the weather wasnt good enough to take advantage of it.

Just got back from a long weekend. Accommodation was really lovely and comfortable and owners there to greet us. Local pubs serving good food so no need to use the car at night, and an ideal location for walking. Would highly recommend.
